   Don’t use - The fee is very misleading and expensive. I called a LOCA in Luangprabang the fee on the app said 200,000lak to the train station but when I get to the station I had to pay 445,000Lak which is twice the price. This app is a scam - I heard from the poor driver they they took so many percent cut

   No OTP password sent. I’ve attempted to sign up 20 times and it never sends me an OTP code text so I am never able to complete signup. I am using the app in English and with a United States +1 based phone number.

    Traveler to Laos - Slow app, lots of fraud. First time traveling to Laos. I was recommended this app. Any convenience it offers is offset by slow connection, constant reloading, and lag. The app charges fees for transactions which quickly adds up. The app makes it easy for small merchants to rip you off. Better off holding cash, cash is king.

    Designed to trick you.. You can’t check the (estimated) price before booking a car, so they surprise you with a price that’s quite expensive, compared to other options in Laos. The way the app works: they give you a taxi before you have a chance to put in your destination.

    Watch out for scams. Driver canceled right before another motorbike drove up and offered to take me. Tried to charge me double what the app said. I could see the guy coming on the map on the app. It looked like within 100 m of me when the other motorbike drove up. Then I got a message saying the driver had canceled. Get a Lao Sim card and use a different app. Indriver. Or another local app.

    Hails fine but a battery drain. This app does help with payments and ride hailing in Laos. But it also depletes my phone battery and makes my phone hot to touch. Clearly, there’s an issue in the app.

    Frequent wrong pick up location. I am using current location to set pick up location but it doesn’t work well sometimes, so I had to cancel many bookings and lost my money. The map is not very intuitive so that hard to recognize if it’s set wrong pick up location. I hope developers to make the map more intuitive and pick correct current location. Thanks.
