   Menu bar/Options bar. It is nearly impossible to find anything without these on iPad photoshop. I have used desktop photoshop since the 1980s. Using iPad photoshop is very frustrating. It’s easier to use Procreate on iPad and edit in desktop Photoshop.

   NOTHING WORKS WELL. I have tried so many different prompts to try and get it to change one part of the picture and it just can’t comprehend simple wording. I encourage this app to work to improve the AI capabilities and quality of work.

   PC Creative Cloud Payers Have to Pay Separate Subscription??. I think it’s wild how much I already pay for Creative Cloud and I log in to this app and find out I have to pay for yet another subscription for the mobile version and Ai features which is not what I wanted to use it for anyway.

    Stuck loading an ai assistant. I’m unable to use the app because it’s loading an ai assistant experience immediately when trying to work on a file.

    App doesn’t work.. Just downloaded and I can’t even use the app. Every time I try to edit an image, the AI assistant blocks all the tools. I even tried telling the AI assistant to turn off and it just said “interpreting prompt.” Is this what the app is about? Using AI to edit my images for me?? No thanks. What a waste of time.

    Spyware!. I wondered why adobe made this free. Now I know. Everything you create, every image you edit, gets sent to adobe servers! There is no way to turn this action off! If you work offline and save a project you cannot delete the file from the photoshop Home Screen until it uploads to adobe servers. I realize there has to be a price for freeware, but the total lack of privacy is way too much to pay.

    snap-to feature needs to go away. Or at least let me turn it off. When trying to use the scale & distort tool to fine-tune a layer, the controls either refuse to budge, or snap to some invisible anchor on another layer. There are no workarounds. If it doesn’t like where you want to put things, you cannot put them there. Also, this app really needs some quality finesse. There are numerous bugs that have existed and are easily reproducible for years. E.g., it constantly crashes, like whenever the screen auto-locks. Then there are numerous ways where features will stop working, and the only way to get it working again is to force-quit the app. Update: after another update, it’s clear there’s been an attempt to refresh the app. Now it’s worse than it’s ever been. None of the many years-old bugs have been fixed, new ones have been introduced. Update: re: dev response to post the bugs in a forum. How about Adobe devs try using their own product for an hour? They’ll find dozens of bugs. Don’t make your paying customers do your QA testing. Update: still bad. Update: almost unusable at this point. Update: how does this get worse? Liquidize tool size can only be powers of 2 from the slider. Tapping a different tool then go back to the previous tool and it shows the “real” tool size. This has been a bug for at least 6 months. Seriously?? I guess Adobe has jumped on the trend of firing QEs and praying AI will replace them. Update: all of the above still true, months later. Update: All of the above is true, but now there are new features that are completely broken. Why does Adobe bother spending millions of dollars developing this one app when they don’t even test it? The 3rd party AI models are a nice addition if you want to start from scratch, but using them to fill a selection does not work with any model except Firefly. Someone took the trouble to describe the models as “good at editing” and “preserves details” which is a complete lie — then paid people to translate this message into 17 languages. ONE attempt to test this feature would uncover this bug in under 1 minute.

    No brush settings????. been using photoshop for almost 20 years. got an ipad so that i could digital paint on the go only to find out some very basic features in desktop PS that are also standard in any other paint app, are completely missing. PS brush settings are already pretty limited compared to most other paint apps, but in this version THERE ARE NO BRUSH SETTINGS! your only option is to import brushes, but if you want to modify anything other than the size of the brush, you need to make those changed on a computer and manually export them back over to the ipad. pretty ridiculous feature to be missing from the most expensive “industry standard” photo and digital paint software… I see why procreate is taking over

    AI inept. The AI is not well programmed conduct edits that “should be” quite easy if well programmed. I had a photo of a cat and a flower… my request was simple… keep the cat, flower and the foreground and make the background black. In five attempts, AI could do no more than make everything in the photo, EXCEPT the cat… black. A TERRIBLE waste of time!!!

    $$$$. This is such a foolish move on Adobe”s part — instead of offering a decent version of Photoshop at a decent price which would have helped them stay the leader in the field, they killed the great Photoshop Touch app and tried to gouge people with this overpriced, bloated version of the desktop software. Result ** most people today don’t know or care about Adobe anymore. Such bad planning.
