Not free. This app is not at all free. I spent twenty minutes adding my income and bills, hoping that it would be able to keep track of my due dates but no. All it does is give you your safe to spend money. For everything else you have to go pro and pay a subscription. Complete waste of time.

Almost perfect for ADHD!. Weekly is by far the best budgeting app I’ve ever found for my ADHD (and I have tried SO MANY.) the one missing piece is I need my safe to spend number to show up on my browser somehow so that I see it before I spend — from experience I know that I’m just not capable of remembering to look at that big, wonderful widget on my phone BEFORE I spend. A browser extension or Mac menu bar that showed the number constantly would be ideal. And I know it would be helpful to non-ADHDers too. Until then, it only gets me 1/4 of the way from the relief from overspending that I need.

Worst customer service or lack of. I thought this was a good app, and am about to delete it if no one reaches back to me, i have left three different questions in customer support WEEKS/ months ago, and these people still haven’t responded. Mind you I pay for the monthly subscription, don’t know if there is a number or not but if they don’t that makes it even worse
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Unable to Load App. The app remains frozen on a loading screen that says “one moment, we are updating your data.” I’ve e-mailed the developers about this and have not received any support or updates.

Beware. This app during sign up flow advertises “Try PRO Free for a Week” and then proceeds to actually bill you for a year immediately. I’m currently making a claim for a refund from Apple. Developer, do better. Don’t offer fake free trials.

Stuck trying to load. Stuck trying to login. Deleted and reinstalled it multiple times, turned off phone etc. still stuck.
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Expensive and does not work. This is a very expensive subtraction for a app that claims certain features that does not work. This does not sync properly as it claims and you will be left with inaccurate numbers. There is no real use for this app and there’s nothing you can really do to adjust other expenses

I wish I could love this. I used this app this month and loved the ability to budget from my safe-to-spend category on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, at the end of the month I noticed that I was in the red. I ran the numbers myself and found that my “safe to spend” category was much higher than it should have been. Now I need to find a new budgeting app.

Calculations are wrong. With a weekly paycheck - minus that weeks recurring bills money safe to spend are 3 times higher than what I actually have. What am I doing wrong?

No work. No work iPhone 13.

A budget app that wants you to pay for it?. That makes 0 sense

Sharing doesn’t work. I can’t share with my partner

Why not include a warning. I downloaded this app thinking there was a free version but NOPE. What’s the point of money management if managing my money is just another expense??? You all could at least offer a free version like most budgeting apps. Or at least give people a warning that this is indeed a paid service.

7-day free trial. If you looking for a budget app that doesn't add another bill to pay then don’t download this app.

Not Free. It is not free. You can’t use the app without a subscription of 7$/mo, so if you’re looking for a free budget app, this isn’t the app for you. To me it’s a trickster move to say it’s free with in-app purchases only to put the whole app behind a paywall. Just charge a flat rate to download.

Subscription. WILL NOT RECOMMEND! This isn’t free. Not worth it.

Unhappy with this companies business practices. I’d have happily bought the product but the way they introduce you to the app is obviously an attempt to get you to invest time into it and then they ask you to pay with the idea being that since you already wasted time on it, might as well buy it. Not me, I won’t support the manipulative practices online businesses get away with. I went with Mint.

Doesn’t work. This app would not even open on my IPad.

App won’t open. Just downloaded the app and it won’t open

Unreliable app. App don’t accurately display actual allowances. This the 5th week and it says I’m have -800 allowance. Doesn’t consider due dates of bills and if you pay all your bills one week with money from previous week it don’t recognize I have another check coming that Friday. Now I don’t trust this app. Shows inaccurate info for most of the week till your pay actually is deposited which is a big problem!! Doesn’t accommodate human error. Not worth a monthly fee. Now I’m looking for another app similar who do it right for free or one time payment! My reply to your response: Im not subtracting my bills from the safe-to-spend. It’s added as income. If it’s not how it work why does it calculate negative when my expenses are clearly less than my income! The app is unreliable and it is upsetting cause it would be useful since this my first time being paid weekly! It’s a tease and I don’t appreciate it!!!

Hate the memos!. While I think this is a useful budgeting app and I enjoy using, I absolutely despise the daily memos!! They are negative, sounds like they’re written by a teen who’s struggling to be creative, things like “oh joy, reminder that I’m broke again” or something alone the lines of “bruh, you’re haven’t logged anything, you sure your ok!?” It’s a f budgeting app, you don’t inspire people to make behavioral changes by negative talk and yelling th em they’re stupid. Change the narrative and focus of your memos to something positively inspiring and this would be a GREAT app. Right now these silly memos make it very mediocre. The app itself is solid, but the negative tone of the memos &reminders is appalling and juvenile.

Started off good…. Imputed everything. Right when I was done adding in my budget info the app closed out. Tried to reopen it and it wouldn’t even open. Deleted the app and reinstalled multiple times. Restarted my phone as well and still the app will download and then it won’t even open. I have a brand new iPhone 14 pro up to date on newest iOS.

Disappointed. This app would be SO MUCH better if they used actual paycheck deposit dates and bill due dates to determine weekly budget. Would help to see which weeks I’m bill-heavy and need to spend more/less during that particular week.

Not free anymore. I have been using this app for months and loved it. But when I just went to start my new week I am no longer able to use the app for free and am required to purchase a subscription. I will be deleting this app since it is no longer free to use.

No editing?. I clicked the wrong category for some of my bank transfers and now I can’t go back and edit. It’s showing that I can do negative spending. I should have about 1k available.

Looks promising, but currently not functional.. I was really excited to find a simple weekly budgeting app. I linked a credit card and it pulled In a handful of transactions, but no new transactions are being imported, which is the whole point of having this app. There is no clear “contact support” link, and the “feedback” link in the app gives an error. Fortunately I am still in the 1 week trial so I didn’t waste any money on this. Hopefully they can work out the kinks and I’ll try it again, but for now it’s basically worthless.

Excellent for those who hate recording everything!. UPDATE: support seems to have disappeared and there’s been no updates or enhancements in months. Unlike most apps that require you to tediously record every entry, Weekly’s setup and operation is a breeze. Set your income, set your expenses. Set what you want to save for and it will tell you what you can spend each week. Hands down the easiest to use while providing everything you need to track and monitor your spending and saving.

good app becoming worse with every update. I like the app, it is a simple way of budgeting and tracking expenses; I have been a premium subscriber for several years though that may be ending. For some reason the creators of this app think that removing features counts as an update. This is odd self sabotaging behavior. Recently they changed the fund feature so now I have to do math on my own to set up a weekly fund, whereas before the fund had several different setups to take all of that pesky math out. They’ve also removed the option to add an expense then add another expense immediately after. Requiring several more taps all over the screen to do the same thing. What features have been added? Fund goals. After you’ve done all of the budgeting on your own with your calculator and spreadsheet and entered into the app how much you want to save each week, the shiny new feature will tell you how many weeks it will take to reach your goal. Not very useful. This is frustrating and sad to see a once beloved app become worse and worse because of careless creator tinkering. I will likely not continue to pay for the app if they continue to remove features for no good reason. Typically, if an app creator wants to alter a feature they make it customizable so that the feature has expanded capabilities, not reduced capabilities. Macrofactor is a tracking app for calories that I also pay for. Nearly every screen in the app is customizable so the app user determines what features are included and the app creator doesn’t have to impose their mercurial preferences on the user. Weekly creators: please stop removing features, instead make the app features customizable. Also integrate the Apple financekit so Apple savings and Apple Card transactions can be linked to the app. Most other premium finance apps have these abilities and are big reasons I’m now considering not renewing my subscription. You could also add a feature to try a hypothetical adjustment to your budget, for example by contributing more to your retirement savings and cutting out a few subscriptions. You could see how these changes would affect your weekly spending limit without actually altering your budget. Of course it would be nice to also have the option to save the hypothetical changes if the user found them agreeable. This would be helpful when considering a new job opportunity, considering a new rental or mortgage refinance, or benefits package.

Inputting funds. I like the app so far but I got it to budget out my tips but I can’t put in funds without adding a period of when I get paid a certain amount so I can’t really input my cash tips which is kinda frustrating. I also can’t mark certain bills as paid even when I pay them early. Maybe it’s user error but I’m going to keep trying the best I can
