   Horrible customer service Do Not. I recently set up an account with Albert and I have found that their customer service and communication is horribly lacking. I was trying to pay my instant cash account and I didn’t realize that you can’t do it through your debit card and it takes 2 to 3 days to do it through your bank account and in the meantime you’re getting charged for the late fees and the only way to talk to them is through text or email. They don’t let you call them and they don’t give you any easy way to pay the bill so I would stay away from them as much as you can. They are a horrible company. I can’t stress that enough.

   .. The app is terrible made will not let me close my account and tries to take random amounts of money from me. Apple needs to ban the app for fraud, I will be making a complaint to the CFPB.

   Albert is a scam. Albert is a complete joke! It will link your account long enough for you to accept the payment terms, then stop on you after a week. Then they will say that they saved you money and put a small amount in your Albert savings, and then say that they lost the link with your bank account, (and will not re-link it so that you cannot deactivate the account. And then you have to jump through hoops to try to get your account will be activated. It’s a complete scam!

   Useless and won’t get canceled!. Don’t use! I’ve cancelled this app twice and still have gotten charged something I forget I have! Please return my money or just stay cancelled! Thanks robots! You made me jump thru 10 hoops just to cancel this! Awesome service! For a scam! ✌️

   Horrible support. I closed my account about a month ago. Today I received emails talking about how they are still tracking my spending. So I email support to close my account. They send me a link to close it. Problem is I don’t have the last 4 of my Albert card. It says contact support, I do and they send me the same link again. I again tell them the issue and the send me the same link again. If you value your privacy I wouldn’t download this app. Looks like they don’t let you close your account cause they want to keep your personal information.

   Where is my money going?. This app randomly takes out of my account 20$ every week, I’ve tried to delete this app to make it stop doing it and it will still take money from my account, when I go on the app to see how much it’s taken out, theirs only 4$ in my checkings, and I can’t figure out who I need to get with to talk about this and fix it, and hopefully get my money back

   Predatory App. Please listen to the warnings people are issuing on this app. It’s incredibly predatory and will continue to withdrawal funds from your account without permission. They purposefully make the account close/deactivation process really extensive and difficult so you give up half way through. Do not entrust your finances with this app.

    Do Not Use. It has happened twice on this app. I have requested a loan did not get the loan and still have to pay the loan back. You cannot reach anyone. Would not recommend using this app!

    Don’t fall for the scam. They will keep charging you 19.99 after you cancelled your account. They make cancellation of this service near impossible and will keep charging you money and not refund it. Scammers!

    Subscription Cancellation is a clown show. There was no confirmation for the subscription, it shows one page then immediately signs you up. To cancel, you can’t do it through the app, and the “ai assistant” is absolutely useless, you have to text or email to get it cancelled, and even then you can only do that by “deactivating” the whole account, which was me jumping through like 20 pages of hoops and different questions to try and sign me up for other services. This app is shady bruh.

    Warning!!!! The monthly charges are up to $40. I got the app for the benefit of borrowing money and learning how to track my spending, not only is the charges late to reflect it doesn’t really add up. It has the borrowing option which is what I truly got it for, the first charge was $20 but the month after that it spiked to the &40! I’m afraid it will spike the following month to $60. Then it has the Albert genius it says nothing, just tells you the bill and informs you you can’t get refunded 😭 and you can’t manage your subscription, it’s given to you.

    Scam!. If I could leave no stars, I would. I am a single mom and their fees are sneaky. They don’t tell you about them charging $39.99 and then automatically transfer money out of your account into “a savings account” with them that you cannot access!!!! I am highly upset. I calmly explained the situation to them and they refuse to issue a refund. BEWARE!!!!

They took nearly everything I had in my bank account and are trying to get me to pay 18.99 for an instant transfer for taking my money and leaving me with less than $100. They took $370 and put it into their smart savings. But left me with so little

    Impossible to cancel. I could not figure out how to cancel this subscription. There were so many steps that took days upon days to complete. Do not sign up for this unless you want to pay for it forever because getting out is impossible and a total scam!

    Don’t believe the hype. Ridiculously expensive monthly fee of $39.99 and absolutely no help from customer service. Repayment takes 5 days (sometime more) to process so you can’t even get another advance if needed but they’re quick to take their money back of course. Not worth the monthly fee and lack of support. Steer clear.

This app will not give you a refund that simple so if you ever sign up for let’s say… maybe a free trial that they advertised for you to try out make sure you read the fine print in the customer support becausee when you search in customer support refund they’ll straight tell you you’re not getting one because of all of the people asking for refunds because of them charging your card every 30 days and i mean every 30 days.

    Not trust worthy. Way to many opportunities to sign up for things you don’t want. Just be up front with people and let them know the benefits of the product u are offering and let the decide. Don’t try to scam people into signing up for something they can’t afford or don’t want.

    Personal information Grabber. I signed up for Albert hoping it would help with my financial needs, but canceling the service turned out to be an incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily difficult process. The company seems to do everything in its power to make cancellation as hard as possible. They bombard you with multiple questions and verification steps, including requiring your full Social Security Number and the last four digits of your debit card. The problem is, I never even used the card — I only had to create the account because they forced me to during signup. I had to completely exit out of the cancellation flow multiple times just to go dig up my card details. On top of that, the debit card verification process takes a long time, so by the time everything finally goes through, the original issue you were trying to resolve has either passed or gotten worse, leaving you in an even deeper situation. This level of friction feels intentional and really leaves a bad taste. I wouldn’t recommend Albert if you’re looking for something simple and customer-friendly. Very disappointed with the cancellation experience.

    Needs help. I have been simply trying to deactivate my account and it is almost impossible. I have to jump through hoops just to end my subscription-SOMETHING I PAY FOR. I have been charged for EVERYTHING I do on this app and it hasn’t been beneficial to me in the slightest.
