   Login loop. You get the app, fill out questions and then need an email for a login link. Link takes you to a browser page that says download app, if you open the app it asks to open your email. No way to get past this loop of open app/open email. Maybe it works if you click premium instead of free.

   Thumbs down. This app acts like it is free. It’s not! You have to get the premium version to even use it. Very deceptive and frustrating! Just say that it’s a paid app.🙄

   Do not recommend. I have tried to get my refund as I did not want to sign up, I tried the free trial and I still meet the window for being refunded and they are making it impossible! I need my money back and they have been very unhelpful! Very unhappy do not recommend!

   Latest update version terrible. Latest update version is terrible. Been using for years but will now delete & use another app as the screen is too clunky. No reason there are 6 places to search food when only 1 is needed.

   Not simple at all. I eat clean homemade meals. I was trying to log in 3 scrambled eggs and the only option was “3 scrambled eggs with cooking spray” but I don’t use cooking spray. This is a waste of time for folks who eat clean, simple meals

   Impossible to cancel subscription!. Do not subscribe! They make near impossible to cancel and set you on a vicious cycle! AMEX even reported numerous issues!

    Bad Update. I love this app, I use it everyday. But the new update is horrible!! It messed up my entries and isn’t calculating correctly

    New update is awful. This app was wonderful and with this new update it doesn’t work. It’s not updating my macros and I can’t click on something I added to see the macros for the specific item. This is honestly unusable. Why?!

    Disappointed. I tried to sign up 3 times. I put in my email address and was given the message a link would be emailed, but I never received it and yes I checked my junk folder. Very disappointing. Off to find another macro tracking app.

    Used to Be Great. I’ve been with MacrosFirst for a very long time. Several months back, they decided to do a major update. Didn’t love it. But fine, I had just paid for another year ahead, so I was locked in. I grew to get used to the update, but still missed the old one. Now, MacrosFirst has pushed out a new update that is mind boggling. It removes key features like, visually helping you to see where you’re over/under on your macros. Because of this, I’m looking at a different macros app and switching even though I have six months left in my year’s subscription. It truly boggles the mind why the developers went from a beautiful app to, let’s just keep tinkering with every major facet. Truly a disappointment that ruined what was the best app by far. Would pass on this app if you’re looking for a new macros tracking app.

    Watch your billing!!. Love the app - However, I downloaded it with the understanding that the 7-day premium trial would roll over to the free basic version on day 8 - My husband had no issue when he did the same, though he indicated there was a “free version” button along side the monthly subscription choices. I don’t recall this, as I was actively looking for the “free version” he spoke of. When I researched it, Google indicated that MF “does not take your credit card info so you are not wrongly billed.” So I selected the 7-day trial and never gave my credit card number. Yet MF billed $76 via our family Apple Account, using my husband’s credit card, which is tied to it. Dodgy behavior between Apple and these app developers, IMO. I requested a refund 🤞🏻

    Waste of Time. I can’t even get into the stupid app. I had to input personal info about myself and my goals. That’s as far as I got before it asked me to register, said it sent link to my email to use but it didn’t so I went back to app to ask to send link again but no. I’ll have to input all of the personal info I already input in order to even get to where I can ask for another link to be sent. Why can’t you just let me choose a password? F this. I’ve wasted too much time on this already.

    Not working since update. I am so bummed! This was my favorite app for tracking until I updated. No longer works right. I log in food and it won’t calculate calories or macros.. I have no way of keeping track. Please update and correct this.

    Frustrated. I cannot get the app to open. I chose the trial after entering in my card information and looks like it was accepted. Even with getting the magic code link it still will not open. I may have to cancel the free trial.

    Super Buggy!. You add food items, and it doesn’t increment the macros. It came with a bunch of weights recorded, and no matter how many times I delete them, they come back. There are features that you look for, and it tells you to sign up for the premium paid service, so you really don’t know if that’s where the feature you’re looking for would’ve been or if it’s somewhere else. They just have no understanding at all of user experience; I can’t find anything I need. Moving onto the next one.

    Can’t sign up without messaging about weight. I wanted an app to track my macros. Everything I saw of MacrosFirst made it seem like the ideal solution. But I can’t even register for the app without telling them about my weight goals and letting them create a plan for me. My goals have nothing to do with weight, very disappointing to be unable to use the app without this messaging.

    Not compatible with iOS 26. Ever since I Update my phone to ios26, the app gets stuck on the loading page at the beginning. It no longer opens or works :( a bummer because this was my favorite macros app

    Used to be good. Deleting this app. Been using for two years. Ever since the update, can’t add more than one food at a time. Have to close app completely and add the next.

    Glitch?. FYI— the app won’t open. When I try to open it, it shows the macros first logo, as if it’s loading, but it never moves on, it just freezes there.
