   Doesn’t work. This thing doesn’t work for editing. As soon as you get the cursor where you want it in a document and then hit a key with the keyboard, it moves the cursor to the end of the document. Every single time. I thought it was a quirk at first but you can’t edit inside documents.

   Incredibly Frustrating. I get this app to edit an exiting markdown file. Editing the file with this app was so incredibly frustrating I gave up. Every time I made any change it jumped to the bottom of the file. It was a whole cycle, scroll to the place I wanted to change, jump to the bottom, scroll, jump, scroll, enter on character, jump, scroll…. I deleted the app after less than 5 minutes.

   Vote of zero confidence. I’ve just spent an hour using this tool to edit a local PRD document on my iPhone. Already I have had 2 very bad things happen. First, the text that I pasted and was editing simply vanished for seemingly no reason. After continuing to edit this document, I began to receive a loop of errors saying “could not save”. The scary thing here is that I could not get out of the message loop until I disabled mobile network to force my phone to only use WiFi. WHY does my network have any effect on using an installed app to edit a local file? Is it attempting to save/steal my documents by pushing it to a cloud server in the background????????!!! Highly suspicious and untrusting of this app after that!

   Should be removed. I read the review that said this app was unusable because it didn’t save the .md file. I tried the app out and that reviewer was right! The UI is SO kludgy. It’s like the developer didn’t understand how to do toolbars. After deleting the app, noticed the last update to the app was 5 years ago. How is this thing even in the App Store anymore?

   A Scam. I’d just converts to an upload of the pro version. The pro version can create a file somewhere, but won’t open it to asked some text.

   Poor Syncing. When I load files from my Proton Drive, it loads the files from the local cache instead of the synced offline folder. Unacceptable. This causes de-syncs and massive headaches. It should not use a cache for synced folders. Add the option to disable cache and I’ll consider the program again. Until then, this is completely unusable.

    Not a true markdown reader / writer. It took just a few seconds to realize this can’t format standard markdown tables. It doesn’t even pick up on bold and italic markdown. Deleted the app immediately.

    I can’t edit text in the middle.. The cursor keeps jumping to the end of the file every single time I enter or remove a character from anywhere in the file. How can I edit files when it keeps jumping the cursor to the end EVERY SINGLE TIME.

    It doesn’t work.. It’s good until you look for a save button. I made a file, then closed the file, but the file disappeared from the menu. Also it formats some data, but it doesn’t format code with colors when I input the language. Haha

    Awful. This app has a massive problem where it just doesn’t save what you’re doing. I’ll spend 15 minutes writing, go to a different file, and the one I was just working on will be reverted back to what it was before I even started writing! This first happened when I was editing a file that was in Dropbox. I originally thought that it might just have been a problem with Dropbox so I moved the file to the On My iPad section but still had issues where it did not save what I was working on. This makes the app entirely useless.

    Great promise, Failed Iteration. This app has got such great potential. Only problem is that the developers are apparently oblivious to the fact that it doesn't work. When you try to edit, the cursor jumps to the end of the text. In sum, you cannot edit. Great idea but lousy execution.

    Non Functional. Pretty much non functional. Every time I type a letter or hit enter, the cursor goes to the very bottom of the document making it impossible to actually write anything.

    Not even 10 minutes. I was super happy with the simple use. I use Google drive to sync files. After 2 minutes of playing with the app, could not save and kept erroring out. Super bummed but I guess I’ll find another.

    Can’t open md files. All files with the ‘md’ extension are grayed out and won’t open. I can create a file and edit it fine, but after closing it I cannot reopen it. Surprisingly, I was able to open a markdown file with a ‘textastic’ extension.

    New file bug. I got a bug, so that I could not create a file in a folder on iCloud Drive. The button text changed to “+ Recent Files” and it did not create a new file when clicked.

    Unusable, cursor jumps to bottom when deleting a character. When attempting to delete a character, the cursor immediately jumps to the bottom of the document. Try for yourself: place the cursor somewhere in the document, press the “delete” key on the onscreen keyboard, watch at the document scrolls to the bottom, and see the cursor automatically jump to the end of the document.

    No Saving…?. There’s no way to save your .md file. You can save your markdown as a PDF or HTML, but not as markdown text. I was hoping to use this app to write my Hugo posts on the go, but it looks like I’ll need to find a new solution.

    Fine when it actually saves. No complaints about the simple feature set, but it kept jumping to the bottom of the document while I was editing, reverting changes, etc., as if it was reloading for no reason. Several times it silently failed to save and I had to repeat edits. I'll give it some more usage, but seems very unreliable so far.

    Great Potential a few Dealbreakers. Bug 1, when editing, often the cursor jumps to the end of the file. on a long markdown this can be beyond frustrating. i use Koder to edit now and skip using this app until the file is edited. caveat... this app seems to cache old versions and ALWAYS saves after touching a file!! that's catastrophic at times. but simply saving by reading is pretty terrible. the reason i continue using it at all is because rendering to a pdf makes creating pdfs i can share for reading on iphone... very easy. i hope the author fixes these defects. but considering both these complaints go back 1-4 years, it seems not likely. one can hope though.
