Not for adhd people. First off you open the app and it’s just the mind map with no tutorial or anything, it’s a confusing app, so I’ve opted for a refund because I’ve already deleted the app and won’t be using it. If you have adhd this is not for you.

Data loss 😭😡. Had it in the iPad Pro , worked great, made mind maps. I downloaded the app on my iPhone, then the app deleted all my cloud mind maps. Now I have to remake the maps, which I will have to do on another app. Devs, when syncing a cloud folder, err to the side of not deleting the data when there is a mismatch between devices, come on.

SimpleMind. I gave 1 star for a reason. It is not doing what’s advertising and because of the limitation of the app. This is actually a bastardized copy cat of iThought. IThoughts is the deal for the money’s worth. It cost a little more, but it is well worth it.

Can’t do anything. I bought this and I can’t do anything! So much for so little, no, so much for NOTHING. Do not get this app.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Long time bug infestation. There are multiple bugs that have not been resolved. The most damaging is the sync bug, I’ll work on iPad at home then when I need the info when at work it is not on my iPhone.
- ★★★★★cross-device sync is unreliable
Can't sync with google Drive. Won't sync with my google drive account and now has stopped syncing with Dropbox. What's going on here?

Needs iCloud integration. I use Apple's iCloud. This is otherwise a great application, but you really needs to find a way to support iCloud. Also, can you use the Apple Pencil's pressure sensitivity to do multi-select? You can also distinguish between pencil and finger tap to do multi-select.

totally screwed me with sync. i had a lot of hope for this app, but it totally screwed me syncing between desktop and phone. after taking an hours worth of notes and adjustments duringa client meeting, it completely overwrote them, apparently during a sync error. absolutely unacceptable. avoid depending on this to sync accurately with dropbox accross platforms.

Need to buy a Pro version on Desktop before sync allowed. Not stated in description that I need to purchase a pro version on desktop before synchronization is allowed.

Complicated and difficult app. The new upgrade to make it synchronize with Dropbox just made it more difficult and complicated to operate. I wish I can get a refund of the paid version I upgraded to.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Missing feature. There is no way to choose an export format. Please, fix it.

ARGHH!. ALL my mind maps have disappeared from my App. When I open it it’s just asking me to start again. Dozens and dozens of my maps have vanished - hours of study and hard work for nothing. I have even bought the pro version but they’re not there either so that’s £15.98 down the drain in total.

Disappointing. Upgraded from the free iPhone version. At the moment looks like money for nothing.

BUGS - DOES NOT SAVE NOTES WITH IMAGES. Paid version: Added text and information with images in the notes sections and it did not save. Lost a bunch of information that I researched. I can’t remember all the notes so I can’t retrieve any of the work I did. Terrible. Totally unreliable. I paid for this version.

One the worst thing !. The image you added into mapping would be depressed automatically in every every low quality, terribly experienced while using
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
iPad Pro crashes. Love the functionality of the app. Constantly crashes and you lose the last 2 or 3 things you added which has to be redone. Just wish it would not crash.

Lost my work. I like the layout and capability of SimpleMind Pro +. It's easy to use and easy to export. The low star rating is for the lost work and multiple issues found. I opened the app today to find my work erased, which is fine because I copied it as an image into other apps. But, for a Pro app, it shouldn't do that. Second issue I have is that for some reason, I can't create a mind map from scratch. I have to open an existing mind map, i.e. Welcome file, then create a new mind map. Without an existing mind map, the square edit sign opens a menu that is grayed out. I'm hoping that deleting the app and reinstalling will fix this. Usually, the edit sign has a menu for a new mind map. Third issue is that moving a mind map file to Apple iCloud forces it to open as a file rather than as an internal mind map. I'm not sure what that means and what the difference is, but limitations occur once that happens. The mind map links no longer work even if I try to map it to other files within the same Apple iCloud folder.

Where’s the Apple iCloud Drive support?!. This app is an ok app except that it does not have iCloud Drive support. This app has been out for years and the developers have ignored the apple ecosystem. I own the Pro+ version of this app in iOS and the paid in macOS. I understand Support for Dropbox, Google Drive and a Chinese Cloud service for non-sensitive information to share. Pro implies, to me, seamless business class features. I’m not a fan of “work arounds” to use the same file on all my devices. I regret that I missed the elephant in the room by going all in with a developer that can’t meet the grade of Apple’s iCloud Drive.

Best but no iCloud support?. This is the best and easiest to use tool until you want share your work across devices. No iCloud support? Ridiculous.

No Apple iCloud capability. Good for simple mind maps, but it lacks integration with Apple iCloud capability with its automatic sync capability. Sadly the application authors have not caught the vision yet.

Good and bad. This application has great content. My issue stems from the lack of retina display support. I'm not saying this to be a pill; I know it sounds like that. In reality, the pixilated picture hurts my eyes after a while. I really hope this company has plans to update to retina graphics. I mean, the app is $7, I think it should reflect that in the quality of the app. I'll update my rating when retina graphics is added.

Incomplete. Easy to draw, but no way to move a branch to another node.

Ok for iPad. Does mind maps on iPad very well but sharing to my desktop version of Freemind leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the connectors between nodes do not come across into Freemind.

What? Only Google or Dropbox cloud?!!. I have no intention of setting up either of these. WHY does this NOT sync using iCloud. Please? If it’s happening soon I’ll stick with it, if not a refund will be requested ASAP.

Integration poor. Good app but syncing between devices is very poor

So aggravatingly close to perfect but the frustrations hold it back.. I migrated here from iThoughts after it lost support, and the transition has been mostly smooth. But there are some features whose limited implementation drives me absolutely insane and makes the experience painful. First, In order to apply automatic numbering to the nodes, you have to deselect everything and tap the paint brush, which opens a menu that allows you to enable automatic numbering… but only on a map-wide scale. There is a perfect customization menu for each node that could allow you to apply automatic numbering on a node-by-node basis, but instead it’s relegated exclusively to the entire map and creates a very unpleasant, cluttered look. Second, there’s a nice roll-up feature for progress, but not one for time / resource tracking. iThoughts had this perfect feature where I could put a time estimate on a bubble/task, showing how many minutes or hours I think something would take, and they roll up to the parent comment so I can quickly and accurately assess the scope of a project. Better still, they calculate the relationship between progress and estimated time. So I put 2 hours on a project, complete 50 percent of it, and it shows that I have 1 hour left. And it all rolls up so I can track my progress into the larger context. I’ve appreciated the features added with each update so I’m sincerely hoping these get addressed in the next one. I’d give a higher score for all the other great features, but the ability to track scope and progress are my #1 reason for using mind maps, so this is a big problem for me.

Excellent mapping software, but a few minor issues. This is an amazing mapping software (the best one I could find on the App Store without a monthly subscription) and I so badly want to give it 5 stars but there are a few issues. (1) The select tool is horrible. You may want to make 15 bubbles in one color for example and you have to select each one (no problem) but the program will exit selection if you accidentally click just a hair outside the bubble (which happens far too often). Solution: give us a “X” button to exit the selection tool and disable touch input to the blank canvas as the method of exit. (2) The colors! Allow us to have a palette of preset colors. I hate how our only option is this super complicated color selector. Sometimes I want a same color applied to different branches and I hate how I have to find the exact color code and copy and paste it each and every time. Would rather I always have quick access to the colors I always use. (3) The search function needs to be homogenized. I should be able to search for a certain key word through all my maps and quickly skim through them. Now I have to search a key word and it gives me all the maps that word is in, then I have to go through each one and use another search tool to go through that specific map. I need to keep doing this process repeatedly till I find what I want It’s needlessly tedious. Anyways, it’s a great app, I have come to rely on it and these are very minor issues that can be fixed. Once they are addressed I will proudly give it a 5 star review!

Expansive but limited. When we edit the blob text, it keeps expanding horizontally. One must stop writing and then grab the little symbol in the lower right corner and drag it back to shape the blob. Very annoying. There is no tiny text note preview so you have to guess or recall what the text box has in it to decide if you want to read it. Annoying. Finally, I don’t see how we can take a map and make it into a visual organizational hierarchy- all we can get is a text outline in the inspector. Daaa. I’d like to use the map to show clear relationships in a hierarchy view and also the ability to show dependence as in organization charts or idea charts by selecting a button that organizes the view instead of having to spend several minutes physically rearranging all of the elements. Very time consuming. Gracias ustedes.

Syncing not work fluently. Synchronization sometimes not working no update on the map after syncing completed

Adequate but not robust. Simple mind is a good, inexpensive concept mapping program. I find it is mostly lacking in the inability to "drill down" into subtopics. This means that you can only expound on one main topic for a limited amount of subtopic detail before the mindmap gets too unwieldy to print.
