Chase. This app is stupid and the worst app ever it is a scam I like using iMessages better but not the magic app it is stupid. The worst app made in the world.

App will not work!. I have reached out to the company but have yet to hear a reply. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still locks up on the login screen. Is anyone else having issues and if so what did you do? This has been going on for several weeks now.

There is no response. After blocking the Russian replenishment of the store, it is not possible to pay for a subscription and not transfer to another region. Technical support at the plant is not responding to change the account of the payment cloud

Frustrating Did not work. I tried to set up magic Jack with my Mac and the app that Magic Jack provided is not supported in modern macOS, so it did not work. I downloaded the app from the App Store and it will not allow me to create a password so now I have an unusable product. I work for a networking company so I know how to connect things to networks.

Fraud. I purchased a magic jack from Best Buy and been trying to set it up for the last 6 months. Customer service said to never purchase from Best Buy or eBay because they have no affiliation with them. So if anyone has been having this problem. This is a lawsuit! Customer service said that the magicJack that I purchased was already registered so I couldn’t use it.

Bad connection. I have tried it for only one month and decided to delete my account due to a bad connection. Although I deleted my account, they charged me the fee for the service for the next month. I hope one of the customer service team contact me to resolve this issue. I tried to contact to get a refund but I was not successful.

Getting worse. 1st thing is that after each update my mic stops working even though it’s showing on . that goes on for weeks unable to make outgoing calls until finally it’ll just start working again . 2nd thing is why after 12 years do you suddenly need my location who are you selling our information to now? It’s not just to meta this time there’s someone else. Data mining companies?

The worst service and customer service experience ever. I paid for a phone number by magicjack and then received over a dozen phone calls a day, every single day, for weeks, until I canceled the service. Their customer service told me to block the numbers, but I got sick of spending all my free time blocking numbers. No refund was offered and since I’ve canceled my account, I continue to receive emails from magicjack saying I have new voicemails at the phone number that I closed almost a month ago. Really wish Skype didn’t shutdown.

WHY IS THE TIME STAMP ON TEXTS NOT LOCAL TIMEOR READABLE??. The text function of Magicjack seems to be a “new thing”. WHY is each text message iNOT time stamped WITH LOCAL TIME? As well, the time stamp is microscopic…. This MUST be changed to be able to read it. And the character limitation to a text message? This needs to be extended to include more characters.

Can’t renew service. I’ve had Magicjack for many years. Now I’m unable to add a credit card to renew service. I keep getting an error “Unable to add credit card”. I’ve tried multiple (7) cards without success. Customer service is completely unhelpful. They are super unresponsive. Other than trying to renew through the broken website, there is no other way to renew. Now I’m about to loose the number I’ve been using for years that most of my contacts have. Terrible.

App force closes. App version 5.6.5 force closes every time on my iPad Pro. It worked great with the previous version. Works fine on my iPhone. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck. 6/13/25

Multiple devices on magicAPP. I use magic jack on multiple devices running iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android. When you login from one device, it logs you out on your other devices without giving any indication, why you were logged out. It is done for security reasons I am quite aware. And when it is only i using one of the magicApps it is not a problem. However, when several users are making calls, it can become problematic. There is no technical reason that magicJack could not signal all of the apps that are on devices that are logged in for incoming calls. Look at Meta messenger, Meta chat, whatever you wanna call it. When you get an incoming call on that app the system signals all available devices that are logged in. It is for that reason and that main reason I gave it a one star rating. Other contributing factors are the fact that magicJack numbers which are supposed to be part of the United States public switched telephone network cannot be called from other apps that are interfaced to the public switched telephone system in the United States. For making outgoing calls from somewhere on planet Earth or in low Earth orbit, to the United States it works well! Setting up and testing the voicemail is tedious and quirky. Thank you very much for reading the review and thank you very much for providing the magic Jack service at a reasonable price.

Going through a lot. I’m having trouble with my life and need a cell phone bad but due to certain circumstances with my dad refusing to offer assistance ,let me get assistance to obtain resources that are necessary in life now such as internet, phone,Id,transportation ect or even allow me to use resources I have currently at my disposal to get to where I can continue using them without his help or anyone else’s .i have no income and am trying to get where I can finally start back on getting hired for a job and get new credit card and income to pay for bills and subscriptions and other obligations.I need a free calling app service and someone recommended this to me.I went through the process only to find out that I need a subscription to use it ! What the heck man ! I’m broke and skimming my pockets here this is necessary for me to make calls to family,friends, work, and even doctors offices, my dad took my phone when I was doing my last job hunt and I been searching for a way to get back into my it so I can reclaim both my social and work life so I can get to where I can take care of others as much as taking care of my self! This app should be helpful to people like me all I’m asking for is making and receiving calls I’m not asking for a subscription to Amazon prime!

Hounded with spam calls. I am really frustrated. I got this number because I needed to have a U.S. number for certain things, and I no longer had my U.S. number. But ever since I got this number, I have been hit with multiple calls a day that are all spam when I answer. I have stopped answering any calls that come through the app for this reason, but I worry about one day missing a call that matters. So frustrating.

Freezes phone. I updated the app and once I answer a call on the app, it freezes my iphone. I can’t hang up or use the other phone functions and forced to force restart my phone. In addition, not all calls comr through.
