   AI is discriminatory. The AI is horrible with LGBTQ related entries. It’s discriminatory, harmful, and the opposite of what a journal touting mental health support should be aiming for. But clearly there’s a huge anti-LGBTQ AI push here.

   Paying for Nothing???. I really loved this app and have been using it for almost 8 years, so I decided to upgrade to the premium version as I felt I would only enjoy it more. But after purchasing, none of the premium features were unlocked. It just kept telling me I had to upgrade to premium to access them. I ended up emailing customer their customer service with screen shots proving that I did subscribe but was still not gaining access to the features. I got no response. This was a year ago and I’ve barely touched the app since. I reported the charge as fraud to get my money back since I never heard anything back. I’m writing this review now because I recently opened the app and was prompted once again to upgrade to premium. I still have no reply to my email a year later.

   Weird Anti Vaxxer quote. I got a quote from the general category from Jenny McCarthy who said she looks at autism like a bus accident, and that you don’t become cured but can recover. I thought the quote was a bit weird so I did some research. After looking her up, I found out she herself doesn’t have autism, but her son does, and she promotes the idea that vaccines cause autism. I’ve had this app for a few years and have gotten a few weird quotes, but this is the one that’s making me delete it. I look for inspiration or funny quotes, not weird anti vaxxer opinions. I know I’m just one person and my one uninstall doesn’t matter, but I just thought I’d share.

   “Could not sign in for an unknown reason.”. I was going to wait some more till I trusted this app and because I usually don’t write reviews. This could not wait—especially after membership purchase. I have been using this smart journal fine until today. I was really starting to use this more and about to recommend. Oh the disappointment. I read there is a new update, but has made the login for returning users bricked. I was randomly logged out and I didn’t even know it but the journal and quotes to me to the app fine. Additionally I went to see the developer website and support help. It’s a bad joke: the submit button is fake! I can’t even contact the support team on their own official support website looking cool and all, even mentioned here. IDK how others are having positive exp. still.

   Thievery. Thievery I once was a big fan of this app — in fact, all the apps from this developer. Then they got greedy. Their Growth Bundle provided reasonable pricing for all of their apps and I've been a subscriber for five years. But my recently-renewed subscription is no longer active in any but one of the 10 apps I use — and I'm being gouged to the tune of $340+ every year if I want to continue using them. Developer support is nonexistent; my email messages are being ignored. Given the plethora of reasonably-priced apps that do what this app does, you're better off looking someplace else. And now it’s impossible to log in.

    Paid Version Does Not Work. I paid $20 bucks for the premium upgrade but it hasn't unlocked any of the premium features. I reached out to the devs on the contact page in the app and haven't gotten a response yet! Don't waste your $$$

    No Support. Purchased the lifetime premium membership however was not granted access to premium features. and reached out to Reflectly using both emails because there is no live chat assistance and I have received no response from the company regarding this issue. Its downright insulting to your consumers.

    No Mac app = LAME. Considering how easy it is to move apps over to the Mac from iOS and or iPadOS, the fact this developer has not done that is pretty depressing.

    Charged Me Without Asking. I didn’t sign up for this app, and yet they have charged me anyway. I have since reached out to customer service now a few times and have yet to receive any response or reimbursement. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP NOR THIS COMPANY! They don’t have it together!

    No support. I bought this app thinking it was the best option out there to find out it wasn’t what was best for me so i reached out for a refund and was ghosted. don’t buy this get MyPossibleSelf it’s free and way better more features and so on! I think they are just in it for the money!

    Premium Bug. Used Reflectly for a while, and enjoyed it so decided to upgrade to Premium but ever since then have not been able to access Premium features. I keep getting the pop-up to upgrade to Premium, even though my subscription is already live and my card was charged. Please help!

    Charged for downloading. Downloaded this app a YEAR ago from TikTok. Haven’t used it at all, didn’t agree to any extended paid version. I just got charged $120 out of nowhere! Hopefully they’ll do the right thing and refund me, but everyone should beware.

    Bug?. I want to try this app, but when I go to put in my email and submit it? It either force closes or just does a weird blink and returns to the same page. I cannot get past the start page.

    Quotes are lame. I downloaded this app so I could add widgets to motivate myself and try positive affirmations. I added the widget to my Lock Screen as well, which led to this quote: “Not bipolar, but I lean towards manicness and then lowness.” What? Do the people that make these quotes not realize how offensive that is? Bipolar disorder is no joke. Marginalizing bipolar disorder by stating 2 broad symptoms (that are also associated with other mental disorders, by the way) is ignorant as ever. Really guys? Out of all the quotes, that’s the one Reflectly decided to use? Who approved this? So disappointed by this app. The app also gives some weird, useless quotes. Some of the quotes remind me of previous experiences which make me anxious/overthink rather than motivate me. Or the quotes are so odd and nonsense-filled that I’m left thinking “this isn’t even a proper sentence.” I tried to give this app a chance (for multiple months).. I wanted to see if it could redeem itself. Nope, not at all.

    Want to cancel. I have reached out to your customer service and have not received a reply. I want to cancel my membership but it doesn’t seem to be very easy to do. I can’t see when the free trial is over or any information for that matter. Please help!

    I wish I could give an actual review. I’ve been trying to contact someone for MONTHS in an attempt to get help with logging in. Radio static. Every email goes unanswered. But yet, I still get their email newsletters, so someone is behind this right?! I bought a very discounted annual membership to try but I’ve never been able to actually get into the apps because they don’t recognize my login. I can login online but that doesn’t give me access to the apps. It’s a shame too…because I feel like this app specifically, out of any in the Growth Bundle, would have been most beneficial. Alas…they took my money and I am unable to use the service. They’ll probably take yours too. Buyer BEWARE!!

    Ads are annoying.. You can’t really do much with it. Which is why I think I stopped using it in the first place. It’s not really oriented the way you’d think a journal would be. So I will probably be leaving it again.
