   Extremely poor design. Would have been OK but the check boxes are squeezed between the edge of the page and the grocery item making it extremely difficult to check them without accidentally touching and opening the item. This makes it a very stressful and unpleasant app to use.

   Hope you don’t want to cancel… it’s IMPOSSIBLE!. This has got to be the worst app. There is zero stored recipes or stores… it’s basically a glorified excel spreadsheet and place to keep your files. Also, heaven forbid you hate it like me, you can’t cancel because there is no way to contact anyone and certainly not a simple little button to push! I have made my account WITH an email address and every time I click “contact us” it tells me I don’t have an email address on the account. This app is trash!

   Better things should have been the focus. There was zero need to “modernize” the app. We should be given the option to have the modernized version or not. There are better things to improve, such as: (1) Have user choose the color codes for Meal Types. The user can only delegate a meal’s time, and the time automatically chooses the meal’s color code. Letting the user assign each meal’s color code would be more helpful.

   Buggy and does not refresh. I purchased a full version and wish I didn't. It is very buggy and I am running into multiple issues. When switching between lunch/dinner, changes are not reflected in the calendar. It would not let me update the name of the menu if I try to do it from my laptop. Dragging/copying and pasting previously used menu dont work more than half of the time. So not purchase a paid app- it is a total waste of money.

   why does the cal keep opening to Oct. it’s not Oct. Love the app but why is it every time I open the app it goes to oct and not to the day in nov. it shouldn’t be set default to Oct cause it’s not oct. there is nowhere in setting to make it stop opening to oct. Also can you add notifications to notify us in the morning for breakfast, lunch and dinner that day so everyone can know instead of having to remember to go into the app and look. I know other apps have the notifications for the day in the morning to remind you, but I don’t like their layout. Notifications help when you’re super busy and forget what to have prepared for dinner.

   Do not upgrade. 12.99 and you can’t share across devices. What a joke. Total waste of money. Response to developer: I know how to do family sharing, have it enabled for all members, and have ensured we are all logging into the correct app account and using the correct appleids. No shstingbis possible for us, and we get one email every 48 hours from your tech support.

   Loved it until it won’t open!. This app was great! I could plan meals and import recipes! Fantastic. I no more and upgraded to the paid version and it no longer opens!!!

    App asks for Full calendar access. Data privacy is not honored. To sync the meal board with calendar, the app forces you to provide full calendar access without justification . Needs an update

    Cannot restore purchase. I have tried to follow all the steps to restore purchase so I can have it on multiple device but it does not seem to work. Followed all the instructions including signing out and restarting device. I was really hoping this app could work.

    Clunky. Not at all intuitive and rather clunky. Other than I like having it in my phone I think it’d be faster to write it all down and snap a picture

    Recipe Import Broke with the Last Update. I can’t seem to import recipes with this latest update. The auto import has just stopped working completely, and when I try to import manually, I get a spinning wheel of death and the app gets caught on “processing ingredients”. Super disappointing, as the ease of importing recipes to create grocery lists is the highest appeal of this app. Hoping they fix it sooner rather than later.

    Glitchy- Items left off shopping list. I love most things about this app, except that you can’t rely on the shopping list it generates to be complete. There have been several times when I start preparing a meal and find that there are things that were not on the shopping list that should have been there. Today, something that I was planning on making for lunch requires avocado, but there was no avocado on my shopping list. I carefully synced it for the correct dates and the “show in groceries” toggle was switched on, yet it didn’t show up on my shopping list. I need this app to save time for me, not make me search through every single ingredient in every single recipe and make sure it’s on the shopping list before I go shopping.

    Poor Customer Service. For the cost of this app, you should be able to see what the printouts will look like. I sent a request for examples of the meal plan and was sent a print out of a recipe (not a meal plan) and I did not get a response to my reply. I think users should be able to test the features or at least see representative examples for an app as expensive as this.

    Could be better. I wish that it wouldn’t want a full recipe to be added. I’d like to simply add the name of a meal and it be saved so when I’m planning out dinners for the week and need ideas I can easily look back at what I’ve made before to come up with something. I’ll always type in myself the meal but it doesn’t save. App really isn’t what I’m looking for.

    Cannot Share Full Purchased App. Great app overall so I bought the upgraded version with the hopes to share plans, recipes, and grocery lists with my spouse. However, the family sharing does not work and the app doesn’t let you simply log into the cloud account from another device.

    Limited Sharing Functionality. I liked the app even tho it seems a little rudimentary in design. However the app says that you it supports family sharing and I’m not seeing the functionality for it nor can my family log into my account from their phones. It’s pretty important to us because we meal plan together. So I’m very upset that I paid 10 bucks for this “premium service” and I can’t even share it with my family.

    Glitchy. Great when it works. Unfortunately, it often adds random items instead of what I selected. For instance, today I tried to add Shakshuka as a dinner, and it added shampoo - repeatedly. You’d think maybe “shampoo” was just next to Shakshuka and my finger slipped, but shampoo was not even on the list I was selecting from. And when I tried to add Avgolemono, it added French Toast. Completely random. I want to like this app, but I am little irritated that I spent $10 to buy this so I could import more recipes when I reached the limit (which is something like ten recipes). I love the concept and the functions (when they work). It will probably be great if the bugs get fixed. Since I already paid for it. I guess I’ll keep using it and hope the bugs get worked out.

    Good recipe app. I have used MealBoard for quite a few years now and love it, but it has some drawbacks. When importing recipes from some sites it doesn’t work well. Importing recipes from Americas Test Kitchen is one take the import gives me errors. I then have to manually correct them. I use Paprika 3 now and it does it flawlessly. I like that MealBoard subscription lets you use website or app. Paprika requires a separate subscription to access on different platforms. Fix the import and it would get 5 stars.

    Love the app, but it crashes a lot. Absolutely one of the best apps I’ve ever used! Both me and my husband cook and it helps us plan menus, when we are having what meals. Unfortunately the app crashes a lot and a lot of the times the app won’t sync between mine and my husbands app on our phones. We payed for the full versions and would love to see an update so there weren’t so many crashes. I can send notes for the devs on when it happens and what happens is requested.

    It works but it’s very limited in usage. Once the month’s meals are set up, it’s good. Not great. But solidly good. I would use it - I DO use it - but I’d be more excited to use it more… if it was more malleable to the user experience. It says I can make a template but offers no explanation of how to create a template (you just sort of fall into it and it’s not incredibly intuitive). I can’t seem to make a template for the whole month, just one week at a time. I’m still not sure how it works - figuring it out. But it seems tedious and restrictive. I’d like to duplicate my entire month, but can’t. I also can’t see the next month outside of the month I’m in. So, it’s the last of July right now; this app tells me I can drag and drop. I want to drag and drop July 1st’s meals into August 5th, but I can’t see August 5th from July’s menu…. So I can’t drag and drop it into August’s menu. It’s frustrating and a chore. This app appears to be designed to make meal planning easier. To make this task easier - but it really doesn’t do that. Developers - please let users select an entire week at a time - and allow us to copy/paste the entire week wherever we want to paste it to. Also, please allow users to view the week they’re in - all by itself. Big. Bold. Shade the days we’re not in, and leave the day we ARE in, nice and bright/vibrant. This app is low-level good, fully functional and works as it’s intended. It works. It just isn’t all that intuitive nor does it have more than very basic edit functionality. “Help” appears to be all-but non-existent. I’ve been using it for 1 month and told myself I would work it the best I can. I’m an avid app user, as most ppl probably are. I’m willing to suffer thru growing pains - but I’m at the App Store looking for a similar app that does what I’ve mentioned I need this one to do. If I find something else, I’ll likely replace this one with it.
