   Political ties. I’m a leftist and there’s a political note in this app that made me feel uncomfortable using it.

   Not "in-app purchases". I really wish app descriptions were required to be honest about their costs - this is NOT an app with "in-app purchases" available, it's an app that requires a PAID SUBSCRIPTION to use after five days.

   Pls Daylio Read this. I’ve been using Daylio for over 2 years and it contains some of the most important memories of my life. I trusted this app with very personal moments, including audio recordings, photos, and journal entries. Unfortunately, there are serious issues on iPhone that need improvement. When I receive a phone call while recording an audio entry, the recording gets interrupted or cut off. On top of that, the iCloud backup/sync system does not feel safe or reliable enough. When my iCloud storage became full, I didn’t lose just 1 or 2 entries — I lost around 200 entries containing audio recordings, pictures, texts, and memories collected over years. After upgrading my iCloud storage and syncing again, most of those older entries disappeared permanently. My text entries partially remained, but many audios and attached memories were gone. For an app based on preserving personal memories, there should be much stronger protection against data loss, especially with iCloud syncing on iPhone. Users should have: * safer backup systems, * recovery options, * better warnings before syncing overwrites data, * and protection for audio recordings. This app means a lot to me, which is why losing years of memories has been heartbreaking. I really hope the developers improve backup security and data recovery for long-term users.

   Delete all my voice recordings DO NOW DOWNLOAD. Daylio Randomly decided to delete all my voice recordings for the past 237 days . DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I have been a loyal user since 2022 and I regret it. Personally memory with my grandma are gone I suffer from memory loss and this was the app I used to remember things and now that’s gone. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

   scam app. I paid for the premium version, but the restore purchase function does not work on my new device, and the developer has ignored multiple support requests. This makes the app feel very dishonest and untrustworthy.

   They stopped responding. I have reached out to customer service (via instagram) and they just stopped responding. I have purchased the lifetime membership a few years ago for $5.99. I recently changed phones and cannot restore my subscription for some reason. I provided them with proof of purchase, screenshots with my receipt and Apple ID matching, and I’ve let them know I’ve followed their instructions (deleting app, downloading it back, etc) and they have just completely ignored me.

   Notifications are annoying. I wish there was a way to remove the notification bubble from Dailyo, I haven’t written in it since Thanksgiving but I have 87 notifications showing on the app. When I open the app, there’s no notifications to view (besides the app asking me to buy it again - I already purchased a lifetime subscription on Android but for some reason that doesn’t apply to iOS…), so the notification bubble stays there, telling me I has 87 notifications. Please fix.

   Expensive Subscription Model. I like how if a review mentions the overpriced subscription model, the developer just responds with ‘um actually, you don’t have to pay’, completely ignoring the fact the majority of their app is, in fact, paywalled. You can make entries for free, and that’s it. Any kind of analytics or tracking is blocked, so if you’re trying to use this app to track and find patterns for symptom management, this app is useless unless you pay the sub, and I’m tired of everything behind a subscription! I already know what the developer will say to this. ‘But there’s a one time flat payment option’, they’ll cry. Sorry, but if anyone wants to fork over 60$ for a journal then they’ve got more money than common sense.

    Adware. This app is a conduit for ads. I’ve paid for a premium subscription and they still show me ads! What’s the point of doing this? It’s entirely stupid and shortsighted. Plus, over 200MB for a journaling app?! Ridiculous.

    Really sad, account with lifetime subscription lost, price is absolutely absurd for a diary app. I had this app for YEARS. I had my whole life written into this app. I think I had a 800 day streak or something like that. I had bought the lifetime offer that was available at the time and was super happy with the app. Then I had to switch phones and no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t transfer the data. And now you have to pay $40 a year? No thanks. I’m very disappointed and really sad I lost all my entries :(

    Bad icons cluttered UI. I paid $18 for premium. After 1 month deleting app. What were the developers thinking. Is this a joke? Who’s your target market? I see womans body parts and other useless icons. Triggered me a lot. Also the UI with all those multiple options doesn’t really help track trends. You don’t simplify it! Journal pdf export was lousey. I was initially drawn to this looking at the yearly emotion. But this is not with my time.

    Ok but…. I love the concept of Daylio it’s great. But almost every feature to get the full extent of it you have to pay premium. I would rlly like to be able to add more important without having to pay for premium and also seeing my average mood without having to pay for premium would be nice too.

    Why am I only allowed to add 2 important days??!? Like cmon man. People have more than two important days in their life y’know? I really liked the feature that shows you how many days until your important day, but apparently I have to go get a different app for that cause I’m not paying for this! It should be at least 20 important days allowed AT LEAST.

    APP KEEPS CRASHING. i’m a die hard fan of this app to track my moods and daily activities and i love seeing the trends and fluctuations of my day to day- for the past 5 days every time i open the app it automatically shuts out and doesn’t even let me see the main screen into the app, i’ve tried undownloading and redownloading again, very frustrated as i have information on this app from the past year

You have to buy to get almost everything you want like Colors, new emojis, new faces, shape emojis, holiday emojis, even icons like Mickey Mouse or a rainbow this is selfish like make more things you can use for free like icons, new emojis, colors, and more like new features and more so you want to make money when I’m never going to buy that for a waste of money I would rather buy something else like Luigi’s mansion 2 or a dragon Lego lastly I would rate this a half star because of what said and I’m just getting this game because I’m using it as a emotional calendar but I’m not enjoying it at all I’m sick of buy that, buy this, buy colors, buy new features, buy shape emojis, new emojis, and much more like almost everything so far it’s just so terrible and it’s annoying to buy stuff or purchases it’s so annoying

    Reading the developer responses here. Cringe level 1,000,000 Everyone wants to do subscriptions now. As if we live in an economy conducive to that with 1% of the population hoarding all of the wealth. It’s everywhere now. It’s become a trend. Greediness continues to destroy our society and our lives. Those with mental health issues are just another vulnerability to exploit for money. Need more Luigi’s. “Keep the lights on” lol right

    Scam!!!! Do not purchase. I downloaded this application Feb 3 2025 on my Google Pixel 7 Pro. I then accepted the offer for a year subscription for $11.88 and have been using the application daily. It was fantastic!! But now I switched phones and have a iPhone 16 pro. I cannot login to the app or connect my account to the app on the new device. I have now lost almost a week of access. I have emailed the company every day and no response. I would think that my last 2 months of data and entries are now gone and the $$ is wasted.

    Locks your data. Just found out after 1 month of daily tracking, that I CANNOT SEE MY DATA. My own records are locked behind a paywall. I was enjoying the app and considering Premium, but really disappointed. I was using this data for MEDICAL TRACKING and foolishly trusted Daylio to hold onto it.
