   Garbage. Update to the developers response: before I left this review I did contact them and they said “oh well”. I never used this app before. I only have 1 Apple account. All I signed up for was the free trial then I canceled. So as stated, USE A AI CHAT. THE RESULTS ARE BETTER. Advertise as free then auto signs you up for a year!!!! No response via email. Use a ai chat app instead. Better results.

   Very poor quality. First of all be careful they charge you directly! One week you pay straight even if you cancel subscription. I tried app for few days and cancelled, they charged me!!! App is generating very poor quality images with in all modes. It’s trained not well enough to compare even with simple option from chat GPT and similar.

   Not good or accurate. Proportions were completely off and it stretched the image of my floor plan making it even worse. This is what I expected given that the only input is an image with no labeled dimensions.

   Don’t click on the trial button, it is not a trial, you automatically get billed. The same issues that everyone has been reporting. False advertisement. The features do not work at all as advertised. Is it possible to get money back. Something should be done about the false advertisement.

   Misleading - Must subscribe to use. Despite all the developers responses on other reviews, there is absolutely no free feature to try at least one generation of a floor plan. Even when you press X, it brings you to another subscription. What a scam.

    Not good. 14 attempts to put furniture on one very simple print and only one was even close to being usable and that was barely usable. I would never show it to a friend because they wouldn’t understand it doesn’t look anything like what blueprint three rooms and a little hallway would look like. It does things like adding extra walls plus it’s free trial for a moment and been very expensive. Any other decent AI app would do much better with a decent prompt.

    Would love a refund. Thank god I started with the one week at $6 and didn’t pay for a year. You cannot customize anything. Would be great if you could keep certain aspects and tweak others. Instead I burnt through half my credits re-doing the same design “cozy” 20 times only for the app to just keep adding desks to my floorplan. 8 desks to be exact…. 2 in the hallway 3 in an office and 3 in the living room / open concept kitchen and dining. This is absolute AI slop at its finest.

    paywalled - avoid at all costs. you can be on the free tier but you cannot access a single thing without it asking you to upgrade to pro to use it. i saw a response from the developer saying you can exit and use it from the free mode except you literally cannot do anything from the free mode. was not worth the time it took to download the app

    False Advertisement. ⭐️ 1 Star — Misleading, Paywalled, and a Complete Letdown DecoLab is the definition of false advertising. Their Instagram ad very clearly shows 3D-generated room models you can download, which is the entire reason I downloaded this app. After signing up and clicking around, surprise! That feature “isn’t released yet.” Then why is it front and center in your ads? On top of that, there is NO free version whatsoever. Not even a basic trial, demo, or limited mode. You’re immediately shoved into a paid subscription just to discover that the features being advertised don’t even exist. So let me get this straight: • ❌ No free model at all • ❌ Heavy subscription pressure • ❌ Core features locked or unreleased • ❌ Ads that wildly overpromise and underdeliver This app feels like a cash grab built around flashy social media marketing rather than an actual functioning product. If you’re going to advertise features, they should exist—or at the very least be clearly labeled as “coming soon.” Save your time, your money, and your patience. DecoLab is all hype and zero substance.
