Terrible. What have you done its terrible
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Useless without premium. Purchased map packs previously and went to use Komoot to use and plan some routes out of the country and this app is pretty Much unusable without a premium subscription what a waste of money buying the map packs

Auful web site. This app is impossible to use. It is not at all intuitive. I spent Hours trying g to make it work. And now it wants me to pay again Not sure I can even cancel it Use all trails instead.

Complicated app. Frustrating experience overall. The app is not intuitive — whether you're on the trail trying to navigate in real time or sitting at home with plenty of time to figure it out, it's unnecessarily complicated. For what you actually get, the price feels hard to justify. Wouldn't recommend it.

Terrible. Used to be a great app. Trying to map anything is now next to impossible so I’m no longer paying for the app. Sloppy and not user friendly.

Tracking why. Your logo is constantly at the top of my screen letting me know you guys are tracking something all of the time even after I close the app over and over again why

Unhappy with update. Is there a way to go back to previous view before the recent update? Suggested routes were easy enough to find without making them the default opening screen. Now you can’t use the app without first selecting Plan and New to get to a clean map without a bunch of suggestions. There are so many things that could have been done to improve the app besides this update.

Too much advertising and notifications. Was a good app but started to show too much advertising and the interface became confusing. Getting my money back
- ★★★★★slow performance and long loading times
Apple Watch expérience such a let down…. I bought the worldwide offline maps hoping that I could use my Apple watch to track both my GPX track and my performance. But the app doesn’t show you basic info like your heart rate or zone in real time. And then it doesn’t save your calories, your GPX track, your elevation gain and many more fields to Adobe Health trapping your data in the Komoot app! I very much regret buying those maps… I will not be using Komoot and will return to GaiaGPS.

bought by bending spoons 👎. identifiable trackers added and monetized to death, what a shame that i spent money on this app before they sold out to such a terrible company

Pay only - forced auto renew. This app forces you into a monthly or yearly subscription to even look at what the app could provide. Is it interesting? Sure looks it. But I have to take the risk of an auto-bill. That’s a hard no for the sample.

iPhone app is basically useless for route planning.. The app is focused on social networking features, not route planning. The social features are the landing page and the routes you are working on are buried in your profile. when you find the routes you are working on, the editing functions on the iPhone app are buggy and poorly organized for task. Everything looks pretty enough so they had a graphic arts pro working on this, but nobody tested the app by going through user tasks like changing the starting and ending points of the route, which is totally broken. Numerous small glitches, like hamburger menus (three bar icons that indicate a menu) that don’t do anything next to the waypoint list (if you can find it, it’ll take a few minutes). Many little features show lack of consideration for users. If you tap feedback, thinking this will give you a chance to lodge a bug report, it only opens up an gas page — clearly indicating they are not interested in receiving bug reports, which would help both them and the user. Maybe this is better on Android — I don’t remember it being so bad there. Or maybe it is this latest version. But I’d avoid the iPhone app for route planning. It’s badly designed for that purpose and very buggy. It may be fine for following other people’s routes and doing social media stuff about your ride.

Getting worse. I'm really disappointed with the most recent update of the app where when you finish your route, you can't easily skip all the prompts to add pictures and ratings and comments. I use this to track riding to and from work. I don't want to add feedback and pictures. Now it's many more prompts. I have to go through to exit the trip.

They are many more affordable bike gps. Plus didn’t get a notification when they charge me for premium subscription If you don’t pay you lose your saved routes like no other bike gps

Can’t cancel your subscription. I need to cancel my subscription, but there’s not a place to cancel it on the app. There’s no customer service email listed. This app is such a scam. I need to cancel it!!

Yet another app with shady commercial practices. Another app where the menu to cancel subscription is impossible to find. I just deleted my account hoping for the best. Then i will just reject the future transactions
- ★★★★★data, history or progress disappears
Does NOT pair with Wahoo Trackr Radar. Komoot will not pair/connect to any Wahoo Trackr Radar light. Deleted Komoot account. Uninstalled app.

Not user friendly. I wanted this app to show me trails and gravel route options for going from Phoenix to Tucson via my gravel bike or mountain bike. I found it impossibly hard to find a route. Don’t download this app. It’s not user friendly. It’s also very hard to cancel the subscription.
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Not an accurate map. The maps are not accurate, & the instructions are late. I found the UI way too clunky & it was designed to promote itself then the basic functionality of navigation of a short bike ride. I don’t think the free version is worth the space on my phone. Google & Maps work way better.

Had to use wedsite. Only got this app so I could have maps on my Garmin. I tried to connect my Garmin to this account for 20 minutes using the application didn't work once. Used the website on my computer where it couldn't just open the application and it worked instantly with no problem I am serious when I say I spent 20 minutes doing the exact same thing on my phone that I did on my computer and nothing ever happened not once useless app

Keeps crashing. I purchased the $29 pack. But whenever I use the app, it just constantly crashes. Not reliable and feels like a waste of money.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Imposible to cancel this subscription. Frustrated trying to cancel this subscription. Why not to have an easy flow to do this?
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
designed to waste your time. app designed to waste your time when you want to cancel subscription
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Just like all the rest.. Nice features initially for one time cost, then never ending nagging for premium. Skeptically excited about personal heat map, but of course it’s premium. I would one up for a feature reset but don’t do subscriptions. Will continue doing my own heatmaps on raspberry pi. It’s not rocket science just an extra step after ride to load my gpx.

Fix Ukraine’s title. Please explain why Ukraine is titled with offensive phrase on your map? And explain why Crimea is separated?
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Offensive and discriminatory content regarding Ukraine. The Komoot app displays language that is demeaning and dehumanizing toward Ukraine. This wording is not informational, cultural, or contextual — it is offensive content. Allowing such language inside an App Store application violates Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines regarding harassment, discrimination, and offensive material. Labeling a country in a derogatory manner is unacceptable on a global platform and undermines the standards of safety and respect Apple claims to uphold. I strongly urge Apple to review this application and require the immediate removal of this content. Offensive language has no place on the App Store.

VC Buyout. You’d have to be crazy to get into any app following a VC acquisition, especially Bending Spoons. Steer clear.

Can’t use app without signing in. useless!
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Use to be great now useless. Use to be useful and even paid for the maps, now you can’t even use the map that you paid for unless you pay a monthly fee. Was nice while it lasted. Delete

Now catastrophic. Used to be a great app, but recent updates made it entirely user unfriendly. It is no longer intuitive. I have been using the Premium version for many years but it has gotten so bad, that I am considering leaving all history and data behind to switch to another app for cycling/hiking. If you try to figure out with AI what is going on you learn that they are user testing many many versions, because users are so unhappy. Unbelievable how a developer can screw up what was a great app.
