Very very bad application. Almost always delete the count the number of interval
- ★★★★★cross-device sync is unreliable
Doesn’t synch. I had to pay twice for this, on my phone and on my computer. Even so, the synchronization fails again and again. I hate it. I had tried everything, erasing it on both and installing it again. Changing passwords. Don’t work.
- ★★★★★data, history or progress disappears
Wasted hours. I lost three hours of my work life not to mention data, trying to get these apps to sync with each other. I’ll be looking for another app that doesn’t make me jump through hoops to sync data.

Most of my stuff just disappeared. Everything I had just put in that day and in the recent past was gone. Completely useless to me now. Deleted app and will look elsewhere No it wasn’t user error

Does not support multiple timers. This app is great but yet basic does not allow to multitask. I cannot focused on just one thing at once. I have for many year to focus on one thing and just does not work for me as I get bored and distracted. This app is great for reading but maybe a kid or a teen aged but I am a working adult I need to multitask
- ★★★★★support does not respond or resolve the issue
No Instructions. I used this app a few years ago and thought I’d try it again. Too bad, the developer hadn’t bothered to publish simple directions regarding how to use their app ANYWHERE. Not in the app, not on the web, and the main website for the app is just a place to advertise their other apps that likely have no instructions for use, either. And the support button is only a link to send them an email 😣.

glorified timer. doesn’t notify you when the timer goes off. which defeats the purpose of being a cyclical timer
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
The alarm doesn’t go off. The entire point of this app is for the alarm to go off when times up and it doesn’t do that. It’s the only thing this app is supposed to do. Currently working on getting a refund because this is horrible

Not happy. Upgraded to pro and all my tasks and other info disappeared. Took me 2 hours to enter it all.

Notifications don’t sound with screen off. The work / break notifications will not sound if the screen is off to save battery. Would love to see that get fixed @ then this app would get 5 stars!

Good app for studying. Could you please make the length of the work interval custom though? I’d like to be able to do 90min intervals and the max is 60min right now.
- ★★★★★login, signup and account access
Can’t sync between devices. Can’t update password get error it’s other things I need to focus on Error: Unable to change the password. Please try again later.

Still no shortcut support!!!. App hasn’t evolved much, consider at least supporting shortcuts.

I bought this years ago, stop asking for a App Store rating ever completed time interval!!. Except for the constant hounding for reviews, its a great app.

Does not sync. Nothing ever syncs well with the Apple Watch. I just got the Apple Watch SE and the Apple SE iPhone. This should work.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Syncing doesn’t work often times.. The whole point to purchasing the pro version is to have syncing between multiple devices. This often does not work between MacBook, iPhone and Apple Watch which is disappointing

Keep losing my records. I signed up and signed in when using this app but it kept losing my records
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Way too buggy and unreliable. I really gave this timer a chance and had numerous interactions with support that were not successful. One minor issue is getting double notifications when the timer is up, not a big deal, but annoying. More seriously, is WHEN THERE IS NO NOTIFICATION, and I keep working or take too long of a break because I wasn’t notified. I’ve read of LOTS of people having this issue, which makes me think this app has been pumped up with fake reviews. This is the ONE THING this app must do right to be useful, and it can’t do it reliably. Then, today I got sidelined with some phone calls so I wanted to start my Pom cycle over from the beginning because I was only halfway through when I got the calls. I should have been able to do this by skipping work intervals and breaks until I got to the end of the four intervals. But the “skip interval” option just takes me back to the beginning of the interval and doesn’t allow me to start a whole new 2-hour Pom. So I’m done with this app. A pomodoro timer needs to do a few simple things, not create frustration. I really like the layout, concept, and Apple Watch integration of this one, but it’s just too buggy to be useful.

Application Nags for Reviews iOS/macOS. Update: With respect, your app continually asks for reviews, despite me declining them multiple times. This behavior occurs both on iOS and macOS. The 1-star review stands —stop asking for reviews. I will update this review and keep a log of the number of times I’ve been asked for a review after initially declining. Current # review requests: 8 times (updated 12/26/20) One star for asking for a review. Also, since I’m here, your sync engine is not fast enough (or is not written correctly), for example, if a new device (accidentally) starts a timer prior to connecting with your database, it will overwrite an active timer on a second device, thereby penalizing the user by deleting (or, restarting) a block of time. Why even allow a timer to activate if another timer is running? Easy to duplicate this bug. Lastly, this developer will populate a badge on the icon to promote his/her other apps. So that little red “1” isn’t of any importance, it’s to trick you into viewing more products. It’s basically misused as a way to advertise. Bad design principle.

Simple and effective.. I never provide perfect scores since there is always a need for improving. The software is very effective at tracking time. This software is simple and un-intrusive. Un-intrusive means the software works with other software without interfering, disabling, disrupting, or distracting there functions. Areas for improvement are tracking the pause time, total cycle time, backup data, and syncing with other devices. A well designed software.

Doesn't play the sound. It doesn't play the sound for notification Also I paid twice try to install it on my iPhone and Mac to be able to use them in harmony, but that's a joke... No harmony or real-time sync

Great App but Mac Sold Seperately. I really like the app and would give it 5 stars but since I have to BUY IT AGAIN to integrate it with my MacBook just doesn’t sit right with me.

No dark mode makes this app useless. It’s really sad to see that the pelo version doesn’t include dark mode

No support for iOS Password Manager. What year is it? Who develops iOS apps without supporting the built-in password generator/manager?!? I don’t want a weak password that I can easily remember - I want a strong auto-generated one stored in the Keychain, where I can access it easily on all my devices. I have yet to actually use the app, but this is a huge oversight right off the bat. I hope things get better from here, because we’re not off to a great start...

Crap app. The timer times. It just won’t make a sound when the time’s up. So unless you keep your phone or iPad in no sleep mode and constantly drain your battery and keep it in front of you all the times so you can check constantly, you will not know when the 25 minutes is up. Not too handy. Also, there are two methods of starting the timer. Only one works. The other closes the app for some reason. Guess I paid $1.99 to see how an absolute crap app doesn’t work. Good times!

Doesn’t override Spotify. I was kind of hoping the alerts would sound out over my Spotify and they don’t. A little disappointing. I’m not sure if that functionality can exist but at least I’d appreciate ways to have sounds in app then like rain or something to drowned out background noise. I’ve used free apps with this and I’m regretting buying the pro version of this now. The alerts don’t seem to work when my phone is locked either. This is completely unusable for me.

Edit Jan 2025: Can’t pause breaks.. The sync feature is amazing! I can walk away from my laptop on breaks without fear of going over the break time if I take my phone. I do wish the iPhone app had a landscape view for the timer so I could prop my phone up and have the timer easily visible. I’d also super love a large timer only mode, no other UI. Edit: Downgraded from 4 to 2 stars. I’ve run into an issue that makes the app somewhat unusable for me. I started using the auto countdown feature since I would forget to start the timer when I came back from a break. However, for some reason you can’t pause a break like you can with work time. Tapping on the countdown during work time will pause it, but tapping on the countdown when you’re on a break will just skip to the next work time interval. I honestly can’t understand the rationale behind it. It’s frustrating because I often want to finish up what I’m doing and then go for a break, so it would make sense to just pause the break. If you don’t have auto countdown on, you can just wait to start the break timer but like I said, I have an issue with remembering to start the work timer when I come back from a break. Also really really annoying that you can’t skip a work time since you can only pause or skip the entire interval, which puts you back at the start of a new work time. If I realized I forgot to start the work timer, and it’s been more than 25 minutes, i wanna time my break. Pausing and skipping should be separate functions that are always available.

Request: iPhone better integration with Apple Watch. 2025 January- Sync between multiple devices logged in has gotten dramatically slower in the last couple of months. Example: sinking between iPhone and iPad takes 30+ seconds before the device devices will sync beginning of the day. 2023 September- 1) overall happy with app, use across iPad, iPhone, MacBook and Watch. 2) ongoing issue with Apple Watch connectivity to iPhone. The watch appears to connect only to the iPhone; if the timer gets out of sync, it does not update the phone when returning into range. Watch app: IF NOT CONNECTED TO IPHONE will not run as ‘master’ to the Pomo system; the iPhone continues to be the ‘master’ device, and now the users watch/phone timers are not sync’d. Nov 2022: thanks for the Lock Screen widget. Wish y’all would address Apple Watch syncing issues. Nov 2021: App works fine on iPhone. Apple Watch regularly won’t sync with the iPhone, even though the account is logged in. ^ May 2021:Still going strong. Nov 2020: 2+ year user. My primary productivity tracker. Use it on iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac, all synced to the cloud-timer. Only criticism- Apple Watch sync sometimes seems sluggish.

Was working great till today. Not sure if it’s because my IPad Pro updated to IOS 18.1 but all of a sudden I can’t get notifications, sounds or banners so the app is useless all of a sudden. My sounds are on,notifications are on and my app settings are the same as on my iPhone and Mac book using same IOS 1. Have to use my phone beside me which will go off to notify me. Even bought Be focused pro thinking that would solve the problem but nope. Please update or help because this was the best Pomodoro timer till these issues started thanks

Lock Screen widgets aren’t functional. Love this app on Mac. Bought the iOS version to use on my iPad Pro, only to find that the Lock Screen widget functionality isn’t working. The moment I start a pomodoro, the widget stops displaying a timer of any kind. Home Screen widgets work okay but it’s a bit awkward to access while working. Would also love to see a control center toggle added, to stop/start the current pomodoro.
