   Can’t cancel subscription. Scammy app. This app does not have a cancel subscription button and doesn’t show up in my App Store’s list of subscriptions. Please help me cancel it, this app just isn’t for me. I think the app is perfectly fine but why is there no cancel subscription button.

   Screen blocking feature not working. I bought the year long subscription specifically to be able to block specific apps after a certain time. This feature is not working on my table!!! I’m really upset and would like a refund.

   IT IS A VIRUS (Maybe). It secretly installs a Chinese app in your iCloud. Go to iCloud settings and delete. I had the Chinese file a year after deleting the app. Other people have also had this problem. The developer always responds by saying that they never install programs without consent. Then why did I get malware in iCloud? Update: After doing research, it most likely isn’t malware. It just is how the storage is labeled. Just delete the iCloud storage file, and keep using offscreen cautiously.

   not working. i just installed the app, not too long ago. and it keeps kicking me out. i haven’t opened the app a single time because of how much it kicks me out

   Forced to pay before trying. Any app that requires payment or choosing payment plan before giving me a chance to try automatically deserves the lowest rating. I should be able to try the app first, and if I like it, I’ll pay for it and not the other way around.

    Off time keeps getting deleted. My off time scheduled keeps getting deleted. I have an off time for social media apps during the day but in the app they keep getting deleted and I have to keep creating the same off time.

    Annoying. Unless you have premium… it’s really just annoying. It doesn’t restrict apps at all, it just floods your phone with notifications for screen challenges you don’t even want to be apart of, or helps you in any real way. Kind of useless

    Installs weird Chinese app. This app secretly installs an unknown Chinese app, you’ll only see it in your iCloud storage. Super shady, avoid this.

    Crashed Every Time I Opened It. I tried to set up the app, and every time I tried to create my first offscreen time, it crashed when I was selecting the apps to block. Tried to do this about a half dozen times, and it kept crashing. If it can’t handle setting up one session, it’s not worth using.

    Glitchy. I finally gave up on this app and downloaded another. For a couple months now I’ve been struggling with the app not working. I have it scheduled to block apps during my work hours, but it was not kicking on. I’d have to open the app and toggle my work hours on and off to get it to work. Even more frustrating, it then would not turn off when my work hours were over unless I toggled it on and off again. I contacted customer support about this and didn’t receive much help. After a few updates and the problem not being fixed, I finally gave up and downloaded one that works.

    Can not use. I have to lies have my Dexcom 7 app and my tandem mobile app allows on to check my blood sugars. Even though I have iPhone set to allow this allows. This app turns it off I can not use. Bummer.

    I was so excited… but. It somehow turned off my wireless cellular data. That terrified me to have a mostly inactive phone—no iMessage. It screwed up everything. Also read that someone had malware downloaded onto their phone from this app? Everything else was gonna be awesome. I’m sad that it’s rogue. Especially since I bought the lifetime one.

    Selling your location data.. Actual app is great, but they will only let you use it if you allow location - there is no reason they should need your location for this app unless they are mining and selling data. Don’t pay this company to sell your personal, sensitive information. Update: received a response from the app saying the below: “Please note that Offscreen needs to obtain location permission in order to provide the feature of recording screen usage time” This is nonsense. Maybe by your own policy, but the two have nothing to do with each other. The only reason Offscreen “needs” to obtain location is because they demand it. Don’t give them your location data, the only reason they could possibly want it is to monetize it.

    Use ScreenTime API Please. Drop the location requirement and use the ScreenTime API. I will consider trying it out again if that change is made.

    Wont work without allowing location. This app wont track your screen time without allowing full location access. Wish I knew that before subscribing, only found out after I disabled its location services when my battery performance began suffering.
