App does not launch. Customer support is horrific. Just like it says on the tin. The app has never worked despite my device meeting specs. Beware if you ever need support, this has been the worst customer service experience of my life. They are completely incapable of responding in any reasonable timeframe.

Does not open. Newest update starts and never gets pasted the wahoo screen. I have tried it on my iPad and iPhone, neither are working.
- ★★★★★sensors and heart rate monitors won't stay connected
Absolute trash. This is the worst app I’ve used yet with my Kickr core 2. In the ramp test, it keeps my power at 90w regardless of my work or cadence, take it off erg mode and the controls do nothing, I modify the incline manually, it jumps from 90 watts to 285 when I’m supposed to keep a heart rate between 153-158. During the 20 minute black hole session with 1 minute remaining a drop of sweat teleported me back to the beginning of the ramp test. It reset my whole workout after 58 minutes struggling to get my basic fitness test. The interface locks me from actually closing the keyboard during several operations requiring me to force close the app and restart.

Dead since last update. Doesn’t open since latest update a few days ago. Shows wahoo logo and then hangs. Tried restarting iPad, no help. Android version still works.

Lost access to libraries. I can’t open any of the rides in the library in system. It bugs out and I have to go to the wahoo app and ride manually. It shows like 20 rides in workouts. What did you do? Why jack it all up?

Access to site. I have an account, but can’t seem to get access to. All I want is to ride (Sufferfest) videos, don’t want any plans!

Buggy & Unusable. This isn’t my first rodeo with trainer/app pairings but it is the most disappointing since 1st or second gen. The app is buggy, the idea that you can stream their meh videos is a pure lie and even downloading (onto a 10th gen iPad) doesn’t get you clear of the app. It repeatedly fails to play the downloaded video - ride starts, metrics register…no video. If I wanted that experience I don’t need your app. It repeatedly tells me I need to subscribe. I have. You have my money. The app “finds the receipts” eventually but that is a bug. Video quality even on download looks 720. Love the Sufferfest merger…too bad for them because you gave them bugs. Total fail for people who don’t have an hour to troubleshoot before their ride. Would NOT recommend. Choose one of a half dozen other options.

Unreliable syncing. I normally don’t review apps, but this has been particularly challenging. I have SYSTM linked to 3P apps, and after having used SYSTM for one month, approximately 25% of my workouts will fail to sync within the SYSTM app (only shows in “calendar view” a completed workout but does not everywhere else), nor does it ever send properly to 3P apps. Every time this happens, I have to file a support ticket and SYSTM claims a “short cloud outage” was the cause of the workouts not syncing. Given this has happened 4 times to me in 30 days, SYSTM should consider auto re-sync for its users and improvement of their “cloud infrastructure”. As an engineer myself this is a vastly subpar integration experience that seems very fixable.

Mostly vids WHERE IS THE TRAINING?. Found all the vids distracting Where are the training sessions?/ Tried for 3 weeks but got annoyed by this app

App and system ruined my bike. This is the worst app I have ever used it has screwed my bike up. I pressed pause in the middle of a warm up to get water. I come back and the resistance is screwed up. It feels like I am biking through cement. I was looking forward to wahoo but I have lost all respect for the brand. They make crappy products and screw people over.

Won’t even connect to their own products. Won’t connect to my kickr or wahoo cadence pod after update. Bar in HR sensor connects though. What a joke

Garbage, can’t believe same $$ as Zwift???. This app is complete GARBAGE!! Tried 2x to do their FTP test and it failed both times!! The animation is completely uninteresting and the workouts are extremely unstructured and vague. There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO reason to choose this over Zwift. Wahoo stick to making equipment!!!!!

Power Curve Nonfunctional. Unfortunately the app is full of bugs the developer will acknowledge in a bug report, but they’ve decided aren’t worth fixing. Save your money, avoid the brand entirely unless you want to buy a new trainer from them every 3-6 months.

Just Downloaded and UX is Buggy. Downloaded to try for the first time and tried starting the fitness assessment 4DP but it won’t launch and stuck on a screen where it won’t let me add sensors. Nothing scaled correctly and I have to force quit and can’t get past it

Poor execution, still. Ever since Wahoo took over Sufferfest they have struggled to maintain functionality in their app. Initially, I’d thought this was just the pains of integration, but we’re way beyond that. Issues that still plague the app: loss of paired devices on a regular basis, including ones sold by Wahoo, inability to change from portrait to landscape aspect ratio, loss of history from the Sufferfest app, failure to support older devices such as iPads or iPhones that don’t run the very latest version of iOS (is it really that hard to simply leave an old version of the software out there with no promise that it will work? Why delete them?). Wahoo devices, especially the bike computer, are best in class, wonderful, and user friendly. Too bad their app is such a terrible clunker.

Wahoo not reliable. So they don’t fix their other broken app and instead release more buggy apps? Hard pass

Systm Broke Sufferfest. I am usually a huge fan of Wahoo; however, they broke The Sufferfest with Systm for Concept 2 Bike Erg and the service has not been great. I have been using Sufferfest flawlessly before Systm with my concept2 Bike Erg, but since the Systm rollout, my power and RPM numbers are not syncing properly. I’ve requested a refund, but Wahoo has been dragging their feet. I’m hopeful they fix the app soon and process the refund. I’d like to resubscribe if they get it working….

New APP No Good. The new APP has so many missing items and quirks I have no idea why they released it. Very disappointed.

Why did you destroy a decent app?. The sufferfest had some minor issues sure. But the user experience was tight. I could open it and be doing the workout I wanted in two taps. The passport (now called calendar if you’re wondering) showed you what workouts you had done recently. If you had say a weeklong cycle, you simply tap the workout you did 7 days ago and then tap play and you were off to the races. Now you open your calendar. You inevitably have to scroll it because it’s a calendar so it shows all days, including days when you didn’t log activity. So you figure out which activity in your cycle you want to repeat. But you can’t start the activity from the calendar. So you tap to go to library. You probably have to scroll because, for some reason, giant image tiles are better than the words ‘running’, ‘cycling’ or ‘yoga’. Then you have to search for the name of your desired workout (again because giant image tiles are apparently better than small thumbnails for large lists of things) since scrolling for could take all day. Garbage user experience. One great thing about the sufferfest app was that, when playing a workout, it didn’t monopolize the audio output. You could mix it’s volume independently with whatever you were listening to from another app (music, podcast etc). In my opinion, the best feature. You just need occasional audio cues from the workout. I don’t need 100% focus on it. Apparently the wahoo transition is all about cashing in: home page tries to sell me a training plan; Click to buy wahoo gear. Complete garbage. I’m paying for the service. Let me workout and stop trying to up-sell me. I’m giving them 30 days… if the sufferfest features don’t start to return, I’m out.

PowerTap P1 support now broken. Dual sided power tap used to work, now the new app shows half power.

No podcast/music?. I can no longer have a podcast playing in the background and have the app open, which was a great feature of the Sufferfest app.

Laser goats. It was a good thing and then Wahoo is making it mediocre. New app requiring upgraded systems and killing super land is slowly, can’t go along with it. May the laser goats go after the marketing team.

Need wahoo ELEMNT support. No wahoo ELEMNT support what a let down!!!!
- ★★★★★smart trainer won't even connect to the brand's own hardware
Inconsistent training numbers. I recently bought a Wahoo smart trainer and thought I’d give their training app a try. It worked well for a week or two, but then I started to notice the training number targets were way off. I would be doing a full on time trial and it would tell me my power output should be less than a recovery ride. Contacted their support department and they weren’t much help. Additionally, nearly all their rides are geared to training and many lack videos, so you just get a blank screen.

Confusing. Still disappointed that their is no phone support. Emails back and forth with complicated directions that don’t seem to correct errors in settings. If I could simply talk through the issues....
- ★★★★★sensors and heart rate monitors won't stay connected
Not easy to set up. I kind of hoped that a wahoo software system would work easily with wahoo equipment. Not so. My wahoo app itself on my iPhone connected smoothly to my wahoo heart rate monitor and my newly acquired kickr snap, though it won’t control resistance. One would hope that the iPhone app made by the same people would connect to the same iPhone. No. And this is true no matter what Bluetooth equipment I turn on and off. The error reporting is particularly weird because the Sufferfest app does know these devices exist. It shows them apparently connected in the settings. But then the app itself does not register the output.
- ★★★★★smart trainer won't even connect to the brand's own hardware
What a mess. Said it was compatible with my smart trainer but after fiddling for hours I could not get even a connection. Everything about the app, customer support etc suggests to me development was skimped on non wahoo devices. Easier and cheaper for them to just let people spin their wheels trying than to port to trainers that arent in, say, the top three. Don’t blame them, but was a frustrating waste of time

Overly complicated and a bit crappy. I just want to be able to play the videos and follow a workout whether it’s hills or sprints or whatever . The app is for the cycling dorks who want to talk about their power output or favorite cadence or whatever . It needs to offer a simplified way to just access a workout and be bake to watch the video . It’s a suffferfest trying to work the app
- ★★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow
Update broke app. Yes- as reported. App won’t work on IPad - particularly galling as the price went up at the same time. Obviously this is something Wahoo have not dealt with. Been using this and the old Sufferfest for years. Seems the bean counters of got in and are squeezing for more profit - price goes up/ content down. I’m off .
