  1. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Never got paid. Never got paid. Did a ride in Boise Idaho June 25 or 26th 2022 with a Michael. Never saw my $60 since then. The triple check system failed. PayPal can confirm no payments to my account and texts can confirm David knows I went for a ride. I will copy this over to Android like my email said. Response from Dev. 3-1-23 “ We have a ‘triple check’ system that deploys email, notifications and payment processor communication with three executives. We have reviewed and not found a booking that went ‘unpaid’. We see no attempt by any user to e press such a claim. Please message us your name and we’ll be happy to search again. If you have made an illegitimate claim, please revise your rating. 😉"

  2. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Useless. Deleted this app because no one uses it and the developer constantly annoys me with notifications.

  3. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Broken and not worth paying for. Not sure why this app is trying to charge when you can easily meet people at the trailhead or through other apps like Trailforks/Axir/bikeslice for free.

  4. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Very poorly designed app. Runs like crap. Horrible layout and design, looks like they hired some interns to make this app. I dug into the api and this is HORRIBLY insecure. Feel free to use this app if you want your identity stolen. As a software engineer, this is embarrassing that they pretend like this app is ready to show the world. The idea is okay, except you literally don’t need to pay for experiences like this, trailforks already does everything and much more for free.

  5. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

No way. I’m not paying anyone to ride with me and show me around. Rather use Trailforks and explore

  6. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Doesn’t work. I have been locked out since the new name jagz. It won’t allow me to reset password and I tried to find a link for technical help but couldn’t. My boyfriend created an account and it seems it’s all pay to MTB ride. I thought it’d be a more social app.

  7. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Illegal - user beware. I don’t see where you address permits for use of public land. Beware users. Gurus, likely do not have permits if they are operating on public land - this is called pirating and is illegal. ‘Gurus’, a term synonymous with ‘guide’ (when money is exchanged), must have the following (+more): - insurance - permit from land management agency (most of the good riding in the West is Bureau of Land Management or National Forest) - operations plan Sure, you could discretely pay your guru (read guide) and maybe you/they don’t get busted. Bottom line is that this may be a federal crime. Moreover, using this app in certain locations takes work from legitimate guides. Please do your homework before using a guru.

  8. ★★★★crashes, freezes and errors

Crashes. Prior to the name change, although buggy, app still would launch. Since the name change, app crashes on launch.

  9. ★★★★data, history or progress disappears

Doesn’t work. Terrible app. Shuts down on me when I try to open it. Calendar is a pain to use. They’ve been promising this release forever and I was hoping it could be summer income, but that can’t happen when the app works like garbage or doesn’t work at all. The most they’ve managed to accomplish in the past year is changing the name. Much more appropriate now. Should be Jag Bag MTB. And now it needs access to all my phone contacts to work properly?? Uhhhhh no. Sorry. Delete.

  10. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

New app Jags fails on opening. Bad bad bad since renaming

  11. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Great idea but doesn’t work. So I met the developer at Sea Otter and he was telling me about the app sounded very interesting and wanted to try it out. I have tired multiple times to creat an account and the app won’t get past the verification stage. Hopefully they get it right soon. Best of luck.

  12. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Login and new account problems. With this launch and the last soft launch we can’t get beyond the email and phone verification page. Got an email from the Guru stating they’re resetting my account to remedy this. I still can’t create an account. Disappointing... I can’t wait to get on this App

  13. ★★★★data, history or progress disappears

Registered - didn’t get further. Seems to be a grab for data, takes personal details and Email. After that stuck on selecting type of profile with cyclist spinning his wheels. Deleted and reinstalled but no change. App or server backend doesn’t work.

  14. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Don’t share your contact info with this Company. Updated: The developer contacted me - two years? after my review. I still don’t know if I’ve been deleted from the App. I signed up with this App thinking that the opportunity sounded interesting. I have a high value offering / with access to premium bike with both assist and non-assist MTB options as well as extensive trail experience / but received zero interest due to the fact that the App has zero traffic. I finally gave up and decided to cancel the initiative and delete the App. However, there seems to be no way to delete your profile and data. I requested the App developers to remove my account and cancel my membership to limit the amount of personal information I have out in the e-cosphere. I have heard nothing back. I have emailed several times and nothing - no response. Don’t waste your time. Non-responsive. No traffic. No income opportunity exists here at all.

  15. ★★★★login, signup and account access

Bug. Cannot register because verification number doesn’t seem to be sending to my email

  16. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Good idea, poor execution. I give it 3 stars for the concept. Execution is a bit spotty. I couldn’t even register or get started using the app because it wouldn’t let me verify by email. When I tried it sent me to an error page and gave me no other options. Once they work out the bugs hopefully it’ll end up being a useful app.

  17. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Problems signing up.. Excited to sign up for this app; saw it on BKXC’s YouTube channel. However, when trying to verify my email and phone an email never arrived to give me a code. I checked my junk mail and verified I entered the correct address.

UPDATED. The app won't send verification code to my gmail acct.. I can't even get into the app. It just plain will not send the verification code to my gmail. I've looked in all of the folders including spam. And i've also logged out and back into my email several times, but I still have not recieved the code. Please fix immediately. UPDATE: thank you for responding, I didn't realize that you were doing a soft launch. I saw you guys riding with the bkxc channel, and i got excited. Can't wait to see what you have in store!

  20. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Still in development mode. I’m super stoked to give this a whirl, but manual account creation seems to be unavailable due to the lack of email pins being sent and Facebook authentication seems to be stopped due to the app being in development mode. Looking forward to giving this a real trial.

  21. ★★★★clear and easy workflow

Great potential. Intuitive app with lots of promise. Just needs a bit of extra promotion by existing members and developers to realise its full potential.

  22. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Artisanbike. This will be big , just needs time to get known. Great idea and in a few years will be as big as strava

  23. ★★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Most Comprehensive Biking App. Rides, Friends, Clubs, Chat Rooms, Buzz Feed. Seems like every week, there’s another new feature I enjoy.

  24. ★★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Jagz. Jagz is an incredible biking app where you could connect your Strava and do many other stuff. I would very much suggest downloading it.

  27. ★★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

  28. ★★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

  29. ★★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

  30. ★★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Exciting possibilities. Very cool new app and offers some distinctive benefits compared to other mtn biking apps. Still some bugs being worked out but the development team is great at responding to questions and making improvements in light of user feedback. Definitely an app devoted to building community among mtn bikers. I am excited about the possibilities that it offers. Definitely feels designed by mtn bikers for mtn bikers.
