   Sells scam tokens and coin. Horrid. Avoid at all costs. Purchased $50 in new thriving coin only to have it flagged and removed the next day. $$ gone. Great introduction to crypto for this first time investor. Customer service says “I am sorry to inform you that as it is malicious tokens due to which you may not able to engage with this token..” how about “sorry, we took your money and gave it away to a scammer because we just didn’t know. Good luck with your future investing” AVOID!!!

   Coinbase Bitcion. This is by far the worst platform it’s they do a temporary hold on your bitcoin transfer for a week while bitcoin is dropping and losses you money not them don’t download this app !!!!!!!!

   Awful app. Genuinely one of the worst apps i have ever used. The fact you are literally incapable of removing money back to you account is incredible to me.

   Privacy nightmare. Connects to a crazy set of external sites. Impossible to know if your crypto won’t suddenly be sent off in a supply chain attack. Update: I don’t want secret “clarity”, I want open transparency. Publish a list of domains/IPs you knowingly use so that people who actually practice security can allow them to pass through their firewalls. Until you can point to *that* URL (or better), I’ve dropped you down to one star.

    Holds your funds & hacks your$. Got Coinbase set up my bank transferred $250 into bitcoin then put $250 into XRP but connection failed I hit it 3 more times failed each time. It put a hold on my funds deleted my whole checking account and charged an insufficient funds fee. Now I’m getting notification I bought $250 of Base Dollar at 3:31 AM lastnight and if I don’t pay it within 5 days it will sell my bitcoin to pay for it. The problem is I was dead asleep at 3:31AM. This app is a NIGHTMARE!!! DO NOT USE IT

    Coinbase is not a safe place for your funds. Just look up the AWS outage that took down trading for 8 hours because they don’t know the meaning of the word “redundancy”. They laid off developers and are embracing vibecoding. Now half the time when I try to access my account I get a GRAPHQL error (this should never be visible to a user in the front end of an application). Thank you Coinbase, for finally helping me move to complete self-custody. If you keep funds on CB, just be aware that you will not be able to access them freely — and honestly, egregious errors like this should make you seriously question whether your funds are safe on the platform at all. Genuinely upsetting because I want to like the company, CEO even seemed like a nice guy. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean anything when your platform is broken, unsecured, and unable to comprehend the importance of redundancy.

    Trash fees. For people that actually use Coinbase as a currency occasionally you guys tax the hell out of them with fees to convert then you have a withdraw fee. Tried to withdraw $1015, $960 made it to my account. We’re kiddding right

    Automated sell orders. Coinbase would be far better if you could put automated sell orders in place. Would be nice not to lose everything while you’re sleeping!! Doesn’t seem like a hard request to make happen.

    Worse Financial App I have ever used. I hate the app, I wish I had never put money in it. Every time I try to use it, it asks me to verify my ID by submitting my Driver’s License and taking a photo, but that process is such a pain, the camera won’t read correctly, or it resets and I have to start over. I really just want my money out of this account.

    Holding money hostage.. I already knew that Coinbase held your funds for a few days when you did a bank transfer that’s why I selected debit transfer. But it came out as a bank transfer. Hmm I must’ve made a mistake so once again I initiated a debit transfer but this time it came out as a bank transfer again, when I reached out to support and made clear the level of urgency she reached out to her higher ups and they persisted it was totally out of their hands and that I would have to wait 3 days regardless. Hilariously the money hadn’t even gone out of my account yet. They can’t even stop something that hasn’t in reality even happened? Never again will I use Coinbase my only objective was to save a few bucks on withdrawals. Instead I lost a few days that I don’t have time is money which do you think is more valuable?

    Scammy. Don’t use this app.. it’ll keep your crypto and won’t let you transfer it out.. under the guise of “security”. No real customer support either. I’ll accept help here.. if offered but this is a basic and a given.. fix your app guys.

    Took 30 minutes of research to receive my money. They don’t want you to cash out your money so they make you search all over the internet to figure out how to withdraw money (many videos on YouTube with lots of views) so clearly a common problem which could easily be fixed but it’s a way of making it too difficult so you just leave it and spend it within their app would leave no stars if possible never had this issue with any other apps.
