   Will hold your money as long as they can. Took 4 weeks to deposit funds, buy bitcoin, sell, and withdraw. Absolutely unacceptable and there are many other apps that can do this in just a few days. Conveniently, all of their methods for despot are instant and free while charging a nearly 2% withdraw fee. Coin base and Cash App are much more efficient and the UI is better.

   New customers. Wow. No referral bonus because I didn’t enter it correctly? Literally stopped and contacted support right away (a few hours), before I had connected my bank or done anything besides entering my name and number. Out of luck. Guess I’m going to river.

   Screwed by Strike. I had transferred $450 to Strike from my bank. For some reason they thought I was doing something and closed my account. They said my funds would be returned to me. That was about a month ago and the funds still have not been returned to my bank account. These people suck. Don’t download this app. I wish I could have given them zero stars.

   Scam. Scamware associated with pig butchering scammers. If you were told to download this app from someone you recently met, don’t do it. You may be able to withdraw one or two transaction but then they will do the hold all your funds.

   Same as JP MORGAN. Just logged in to find my account closed. Turns out he and JP are actually “same, same but different!” No email. No reason. Just closed! Update 12 March 2026 Reply from Strike: “We regret to inform you that we have taken precautionary measures to close your account after our team detected activity suggesting you might be targeted by a scam.” Complete BS.

   Real review. Scam/incompetence are the two best words that I could say. I loaded my ID. I did all of their weird facial recognition stuff then they took a hold on my card which wasn’t much but then. did not have customer service to help with the issue that I could not utilize the app or purchase any crypto they held my money for 24 hours. I messaged them several times and then told them I don’t want to use this app please send my money back. Then they had the audacity to act like a rejected girlfriend and send me a message saying my account is terminated for breaking rules on their site which is impossible because I was never able to even use it so bottom line is if you want your money to be held and for some half rate business to act like it’s a privilege to use their token wallet which there are hundreds of other others than this is the place for you slow to no verification and truly bad customer service and please download this app otherwise I’d rather open up Cash app crypto account and I’d probably get more done

    Scam and fraudulent. I went to send a wire to strike and my bank notified me that the company came back as fraud and now my bank acct is restricted because of this. And it wouldn’t accept my debit card when trying to purchase btc and I tried different cards. This company is a scam

    TOTAL SCAM - DON’T USE THIS. I use this app and transferred money and crypto to a few different accounts. I did try to withdraw from those accounts into Strike. Strike then closed my account because it said it was due to fraud, and it said it returned the money to my bank account, which, of course it never did. It did not transfer it to my bank account or back to the platforms accounts that I tried to withdraw from. I am now out thousands of dollars because of them! Save yourself, don’t use this scam app!

    BEWARE. Will lock your account and take your money. They randomly lock your account and then ignore you. They claim it’s to protect you but the only ones stealing my money is STRIKE. Have attempted several times to get them to release my money and their support just deletes my support request. Unfortunately will have to reach out to my lawyer and take legal action.

    Lousy feedback and communication. Besides the fact that Strike closed my account after the third transaction with their service, my main issue is that they don’t have any support after that, their 800 number is just a recording! They sent me an email saying that they were closing my account and returning my money, but they haven’t responded to any of my emails following up on their email. They informed me that I should receive my money within 1-3 business days and after 5 I still haven’t received my money back and the bank has no record of my money coming back and STRIKE hasn’t responded to any of my emails Be very careful using their service

    Wait 5 days for your money. You have to wait 5 days to withdraw. Their bank is slower than anything I’ve used. Cash app is way better. Built by bitcoiners for bitcoiners? Yea right what a joke.

    Outrageous pricing. Watch out, they charge an uncapped ~1% spread with no warning. Two transactions on chain cost me $600. They also force you to use Plaid (privacy nightmare) and subject you to the usual crypto kyc nonsense.

    Unhelpful Customer Service. I (was) going to be a new Strike customer, but my phone number (which is relatively new to me) is already in use. I reached out to support to see if they could correct this, but all they could comprehend is that I needed to verify my identity to I could use the old account (which isn’t mine). So just an FYI, the support people don’t actually read your inquiries or care if you sign up for an account. I will be looking for alternatives, you should also. Thankful to know this company gives bad service before even opening an account.

    Incompetent Application!. I wired over $5,000 from my bank to Strike. I purchased cryptocurrency with with money. Then I transferred my funds to another apllication. Everything went successful! Nothing illegal at all! I wired another amount over $5,000. Once these funds reached Strike, I purchased more cryptocurrency. Nothing illegal about that right? The next thing I know, Strike locked my funds so that I could not use them at all! They told me that they suspected fraudulent activity with my funds. Now after I answered all Strikes questions about the funds. They email me to say that they are reversing my funds back. I do not understand their logic! Then they closed my account. Meanwhile with my network of people that I work with on investment opportunities, thet are all getting this story for what happened in my situation with Strike. I hope Strike improves!

    Unusable. More difficult to setup than an actual bank account and credit card. Visa blocked all attempts ti deposit so I had to call my bank. Locked my account for no reason with zero response from customer support over the weekend. I’m not 6 days in and now when I tried to deposit with a debit card after calling my bank, it’s gave me error saying the card wasn’t available. But then there’s not 1 but 2 pending charges from my card. Visa is supported to be nearly instant but they’re just floating there. Unbelievably bad system, purchasing firearms is more straight forward with less hassle.

    Account closed, please read other reviews. After all the hoops to set this up 6 months ago, I logged in today to find my credit cards unusable. Customer service told me to send in a “selfie” holding the card close to my face, which is insane. I wrote back asking for another option, and they … closed my account. No explanation. Nothing about how to recover the funds in the account. So, now this is going to be a “thing” which eats up a bunch of my time. So frustrating. Would strongly caution others against putting your money into a system that can so arbitrarily walk away with your cash. Has the strong smell of “scam”, please be careful. “This doesn’t sound right” indeed.
