Drive Time. Too complicated
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Price jumped from $60 to $140. Signed up several years ago. Paid $60/year for three or four years. Last year price jumped to $90 which was annoying but I paid it. This year got notice that the price was going up to $140. Company response when I complained was basically to blow me off. Greedflation with zero remorse. Cancelled my subscription.

Price raised from $60 to $140 a year. I’ve used this for years - jacking the fee up over 100% is absurd. $140 a year is pure tech bro greed. By subscribing to MileIQ the only improvement is to Bending Spoon’s portfolio. They haven’t improved the app. If you email them you get an AI response. See you later. TripLog it is.

60% price increase for zero improvements…. On the next episode of Greed…steer clear this is a scam of an app. There are plenty others that do the exact same thing for free or a fraction of the price. I first purchased this when it was $79.99. Congratulations your getting a $79.99 app for $139.99. Take your money elsewhere folks.

Price increase is insane. Going from 8.99 to 13.99 a month is kinda insane.

Price Increase again?. Just got an email price is increasing again! What is the deal? What is going on here?
- ★★★★★privacy and excessive permissions
Invasion of privacy. Can not set to weekdays only. Total invasion of privacy. Takes a lot longer than just writing my milage down on paper.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
$50 subscription price hike 2026. Developer is hiking the annual subscription price up by $50 and has introduced nothing new to justify such an increase. Was $89, now $139!

App loading time. Paid for the subscription and extremely disappointed. Takes forever for the app to open up. Most attempts the message is a network failure. However, I can open it in my house or going for a walk without a problem. Just not when I need it to be tracking, milage.

12/60 Michael. Not happy with your service, I have to use it for this job. Otherwise I wouldn’t. In the LA area you’re constantly in heavy traffic. And it’s very annoying that every several miles it says was this trip for work or personal. When I finally do my miles, I have all these snippets of trips that I have to decipher, so I’d have to say not happy at all.

Hasn’t worked. Not working

Still being charged after canceling. The app is completely useless for me so I never used it and canceled after a week but I’m still being charged.

Offensively expensive. $14 a month for a mileage tracker that isn’t always 100% accurate. Not to mention there are other apps on the market that do the exact same thing for free. Steer clear! They’ve over doubled their price in the last few years. It’s insulting. Greedy to the core.

Misses 3/4 of the drives. Useless app. Would give 0 stars if possible. Customer care does not care. This used to work great. No longer. For the last 6 months or so this stupid app misses most drives. Not worth it. Addendum- the app no longer supports short drives. So if you are delivering on short runs it won’t help you. Avoid this scam of an app. Also, with how useless this app is, all these 5 star reviews are probably fake. Note: MileIQ asked me to leave another review. It’s still terrible. -5 stars. Utter garbage app. Year end reports are terrible. Map interface is terrible.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Renewal vs cancellation. This company makes it difficult to stop automatic renewal charges, after you no longer need the app. Very sad and disappointing.

It quit working THIS JUNE, too?!. I was just lucky last year, that I was working with a company whose address assignments were logged! This year, work was so busy, I failed to log for 11-days. Now, I find it had stopped without me knowing, and I’m just outta luck.

Not worth price increase. lol you’re going to increase to 13.99? Nope I’m cancelling. Hell I can get Ai to vibe code me a better app now

MileIQ buying fake reviews to hide all the recent One star reviews for the ridiculous Price Increase. With the recent 50% increase on subscription prices, this makes me want to explore alternative options. The app works fine and tracks as it should, but adding a few new features like auto classify and bulk classify that were not very beneficial to me as a user, it just doesn’t feel justifiable to increase subscription prices by that much. Processing power and server space will always increase a subscription model over time, but I never had to wait hours for my drives to appear in my app, maybe a few minutes or so but to say processing speed is up 80% across the board, it just feels like marketing fabrication. App does seem to track a bit faster than before but nothing that amazes me for the price increase MileIQ is brining.

Price increase. With 2 price hikes within a year and little enhancement to the app it has become not worth it. Just another company getting greedy
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
At one point in time, I suggested this app to a lot of people, but now we all need to turn our backs. Have been a customer through Apple Store for a long while almost 6 years and the price just keeps going up and up. I was just notified through email by them that the price is going from 8.99 to 13.99 that’s absolutely not worth it. I can go download Everlance right now and pay half the price and get the same exact quality app highly disappointed I’ve watched this price. Go up multiple times over my years of paying for the service. Looks like this will be my last month using it way overpriced.

gouging. 2024 60 bucks a year 2025 90 bucks a year 2026 140 bucks a year the product has not improved 235% over 2024 I cannot see a single marked improvement.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Issues. Why dose one pay for yearly service and is still capped at 40 drives? I have reached out to customer service twice already your remedy did not work, why is it impossible for a customer to speak with a human not ai or endless emails?

Was great but now has Stopped tracking. Was great when it was working, but for some reason it’s not and I’m not sure what to do
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
Good but not great. This app is good at best. I wish it would ask me what to categorize each trip and not just assume it’s personal or business. It gets it wrong most of the time, and I have to go back and recategorize the trip. For trips I take every day multiple times a day to check my animals it will categorize it wrong. Update: I still do not like this app. I have been using it for several months and I go to 3 or 4 places repeatedly everyday and it consistently misclassifies my trips every time.
- ★★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow
Extremely Overpriced. Way too expensive for an app that constantly misses trips, and records trips that are completely different than the actual trip. Now, with the latest update, the app will not open. It has become completely unusable. There are other apps that will do what this app does, but they are more accurate and reasonably priced.

Review. Too expensive
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Increased subscription fee 👎. 13.99/month starting in July. Not worth it. I know the increased subscription revenue isn’t going towards human employees at MileIQ, as Peter (their AI bot) is the one who responded to my emails. Gross. It’ll probably respond to this review too. Why would I want to pay more money for a company that has probably replaced its employees with AI?
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Price. The price is going double the cost. It’s a good mile tracker but not worth double the cost.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Free trial not free. Don’t believe their free trial trick. Not clear. Charged me the full annual premium when I thought I was trying it. Rip off!
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Doesn’t track every ride. The concept is great. The Bluetooth connection to the vehicle is great however for whatever reason it does not pick up every ride. I’ve contacted them doesn’t seem to work right. I have multiple companies that I need to track mileage for and four different vehicles and it doesn’t know which vehicle I’m in and it’s hard to specify which company so it’s not working for me. I tried it for four months. Bought an annual subscription, but that’s just the way it goes. I am going to try a competitive product with Bluetooth self-contained battery powered transponder that I can put in each vehicle so there is no question which vehicle I’m In.
