- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
need every weekday option on mobile. really need the option to repeat a calendar item every weekday on the mobile app not just on desktop

Practically useless. I use the calendar regularly on my desktop. It takes WAY too long for any changes I make to reflect on the app. By long, I’m not talking a minute or two. I mean whole days pass by without the changes reflecting on the app. It’s insane and wholly unacceptable.

TILE is always 31. Just why?!?! I am used to seeing the date on the Tile on my phone and now it is always 31. BACK to the iPhone App I guess!!! If you can’t be current then just why are you even there?!!!

Cannot enter locations. I used to have the infrequent problem of only being able to enter the first letter of the location of my events, but then the app froze and the only thing to unfreeze it was to force close the app and lose my draft of a calendar entry. But I didn’t think much of it because it happened once in a blue moon. Now since this latest update I can no longer put a location on any of my events. It allows the first letter to be typed, and then nothing. It’s beyond frustrating because I utilize this calendar to schedule routes for my small business, so the location feature is a mandatory requirement for me to continue using this app. Little help here google?

Bring back the classic Google Calendar feel!. 1. Bring back the original app icon. The new icon feels out of place and doesn’t fit as well with Google’s overall design language and branding. 2. Add more event color customization options. This has been requested by many users. 3. Make the app icon reflect the current day. It would make the app more functional and visually useful at a glance.

Bad widgets. It doesn’t show alternative calendar in widgets, so yu have toopen it almost always, also there is no month widget with details

31 - enough said. The 31 app stinks. I can give you 31 reasons why I hate it. I wish I could get it 1 out of 31 stars but 1 out of 5 is the lowest I can give.

Terrible new logo. Old logo was good.

UX YUK. How do I get rid of the annoying month bar at the top, it’s stressful and irritating
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
No option to display the correct date as an icon?. I’ve been a Google Calendar user for years, but recently the app icon on my iPhone has been stuck showing “31” every day instead of the current date. Today is June 2, yet the small app icon on my Home Screen still shows 31. The same incorrect icon even appears in the App Store. I’ve updated the app, updated iOS, restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, and tried every troubleshooting step I could find, but the issue remains. Interestingly, if I switch to the large widget view, it displays the correct date, which suggests the problem is specifically with the small app icon. One of the main benefits of a calendar app is being able to glance at the icon and immediately see today’s date. Having it permanently display 31 makes the feature unusable and frustrating. This appears to be either a bug or a design flaw that I’d appreciate the development team investigating and fixing.

Unnecessary change. The new icon does not fit the google brand. It screams ai and I do not like it

Tap to text. When is this getting fixed? 5th request…You guys fixed the tap to call, but tap to text is still missing. Please fix. You have been saying you’re working on it for the past 4 months.

logo change it back. my friend doesn't like your new logo

Please revert to previous icon. New icon is soulless and bland, feels like a cheap app made by amateur
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Reminders don’t work. I rely on a digital calendar to give me reminders. I don’t have many appointments, but they are important to me as I cannot afford to pay no show fees. Three time now over several months I have missed an appointment because I forgot about it and did not receive a notification when I explicitly set 3 different reminder times. Google Calendar has cost me $160 I don’t have.
- ★★★★★unreliable reminder delivery zeroes out all the planner's other value
Native Keep Reminders to Calendar Tasks kills functionality. The legacy Widget allowed for way more visibility on all events over a three day plus period - surprised that the team would remove this in favor of the modern format that lists just 2 events. The giant “+” button in the lower right is intrusive, and not necessary as I can add an event with a drag and drop on any day. Would be nice to have an option to disable this giant “+” button in settings. Because Keep reminders are now Tasks and only fire through Google Calendar or Tasks, I have to remember to open the Calendar or Tasks app so it syncs over after every new reminder is created. Otherwise, notifications will never fire or update properly Because calendar notifications go away when the app is opened, it’s no longer a safe or stable system for reminders (if I don’t check notifications panel first or accidentally open the app, they get wiped out). It also fails to pull the most recent edits of the note once created as a task - so if I add a last minute item to the top of the list later, it’ll never update Tasks - even if I change the reminder time after it fires If I don’t open this app for a while (since I really only use Keep, not Tasks) - newly created reminders in Keep just never fire notifications

Why. Why does the icon say 31 instead of the actual day of the week. Very misleading. Don't like it at all

Give Actual Release Notes. You can't say "now on your Apple Watch!" for 6 months
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Freezes adding location. Across updates this app will occasionally totally freeze and become unresponsive when trying to enter a location for an event, requiring the user to quit out of the app, lose all details of the event they’ve already entered, and start over from scratch
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Update needed for location. When adding location to a calendar event, my phone freezes and the app stops working. Then, I must restart the app. This happens when creating a new event, then adding a location to it. If I modify an existing event to add a location, the app does not crash. Please fix this, as this has been the case for 5+ months now at least.

Poor iOS implementation. Does not sync well with iOS calendar and use is very broken on iPhone

Constantly messes up date and time. Garbage. Just like the rest of google products.

“Now on your Apple Watch!” for 6 mos??. Yep. One star review for that. Don’t be evil, and don’t be stupid.

Gone. Updated my app and all of my calendars are gone except got birthdays. How do I get them back?
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Keeps getting worse. A birthday button? Seriously? Those are already in my Google contacts. I will never press that button and it only is registered as an accidental press. Such a waste of screen space.

It’s changed!. I loved Google calendar because I loved the event illustrations! It made it visually pleasing! Now most of those don’t appear on the iPhone, iPad or MacBook! So frustrating and so disappointing! Why change it? Looking for something better now!

No more syncing?. The app hasn’t synced automatically for months. I’ve reported it and got no change or response. There should be a button for us to be able to manually do it just like Android has.. However, we shouldn’t have to. It should automatically sync. It did before, so what happened?
