   Lost my INFO. Opened up the app today on 6/7/26, to find the last THREE years of my life was simply GONE!! Can’t get back more than the lousy 30 day “Lite Backup” they provide, but even that doesn’t give the details that were written, just the event! I’m devastated!!

   Disappointed in the End. I’ve used this app for years. It has been great. Very user friendly. But it has one fatal flaw. This calendar will randomly clear all your events, with no way to retrieve them. I had backup turned on but nothing appeared in my other default calendars. Birthdays, weddings, interviews, important dates all erased. This is the second time it’s happened and i’m so done with it. Don’t waste your time with this app.

   It deleted all of my events / saved events. The whole point of this is to keep track of saved dates so you won’t miss anything. Today I opened up the app and it deleted ALL OF MY EVENTS. I know the developers might just copy and paste saying “ please check settings and check if your info is up to date” yeah no that’s your job my job is to just download your app and put my dates into it. What a horrible experience. You guys are off just using iPhone calendar or another type. Just use those this one will delete all your events then except you to fix it yourself.

   Events Disappear. All of my events were just gone one day. Can’t get them to return either. Prompts for a fix to this are not helpful or working.

    WILL delete your events!!. I love the app but it will randomly delete every single event I have placed. It has done this multiple times now and nothing I do brings back all my events I had previously put there

    Glitchy and terrible. It deletes all my events and no matter what I do I can never get them back. I have missed many important events because of this. It sucks.

    do not get. ALWAYS deletes my events, super unreliable, used for a year and delte my events three times completely, like they were never been there. Customer support did nothing! Do Not Recommend!!!!!

    Deleted my whole calendar. Worked perfectly for a year and then randomly deleted my entire calendar- past, present, and future. I now have no idea of events and plans because I trusted this app as my calendar. One of the most FAQ on the app was what to do if it all deletes and I followed the steps and nothing restored. I even went to my phone store to see if they could at least recover my events but they were unable to fix it. I really did enjoy using it for over a year and then one day it just erased my whole life :)

    Update. I don’t like the update. It completely changed the whole app.

    Only works if you update it. Downloaded this app after Apple calendar decided to stop sending me notifications. This app worked well for two months then I noticed it stopped sending me notifications much like Apple. After missing an important invite, I clicked on this app to see why it failed and it forced me to update to a newer version. So evidently, this app only works if you regularly check it for updates. Completely worthless.

    missing events. ok so ive had all my event disappear before but just updated the app and they came back but this time they all disappeared like even from over a year ago and the app didnt need to be downloaded so i updated my phone still nothing has came back and it wiped everything from apple's calendar too this is very upsetting bc there was doctors appointments and church events months in advanced planned and i read the other reviews that had the same problem and the person who responds said to look on the FAQ which when trying to do that it says it has bugs and cant be fixed till june 27th, 2022 and its 2026 like bru but oh well im just going to delete it but i hope this helps someone not get this app its not reliable

    Used to love it but... I had tons of birthdays on there but there was one i wanted to get rid of and the app won’t LET ME GET RID OF IT!!! Because once you make a birthday on there you CANNOT get rid of it. Deleted the app

    Deleted all my events bro. Literally deleted every single of of my events and I’ve been using this for so long. I used their FAQ didn’t help at all.

    Calendar got hacked. Someway somehow I log in one day and there’s events sent on every single day that say “we’ve blocked your account your photos and videos will be deleted” insane that a calendar app can get hacked

    deletes all your events randomly. i used this for a year and it was fine i had so many things in it and one day it out of nowhere deleted everything. the customer support was horrible and i could not recover anything do not get this calendar. HORRIBLE

    Get something else. This app worked great for a year or so but on (update) : FOUR occasions I’ve had it delete my stuff. I fixed it multiple times be auss I like how it’s laid out but this time it’s gone for good. Important dates I needed to know yearly gone and I can’t get them back. DO NOT USE THIS APP. You’ll end up crying. It did this to me finals week😭😭😭😭

    Deleted Events. I loved Simple Calendar for its many positives: color coding events, easy access, and how it would link my school calendar to the app. However, tonight I had to get rid of the app and move to another one because this is the fourth time half of my future events have deleted randomly. It’s not reliable.

    So disappointed. I have been using this app for years, and after the recent update it has deleted all events in my calendar. I had achievements listed as well as future important dates and now they are all gone… this has ruined the digital calendar experience for me and I will be going back to good old paper calendars.

    Frustrated. I have all the birthdays on my iPhone calendar turned off so I don’t see them, but they transfer over to this app. I can’t get them to now show up, and it’s like every other day is some random birthday of someone in my contacts or from Facebook. Frustrating
