It wasn't good. I downloaded it and took a picture of a paper I wrote and it just said gibberish. I tried it again and it still showed gibberish. My handwriting is not even that bad its just a little crooked but it mistaked the word "It" and said "15" I dont reccomend

can’t use pdf of image. Wanted to test this out. Fell for it twice. I have hand written notes I scanned onto my computer (Pdf). Tried to use that file but can’t upload. don’t see anything on what image file this tool will actually use. But it isn’t a pdf image

Terrible first impression. Constant video ads interrupting your scanning. Inconvenient for lots of scanning. By far the least scanning app I’ve tried. Did not use for long.

Messes up my sentences. I scanned a few pages with my handwriting on it. It got every word, but would take a chunk off the end of a few sentences and put them elsewhere. I had to do major editing in order to get it understandable.

Nag nag nag. So far this app has prompted me to review 5 times in less than an hour, so here is your one-star review so that you will stop bugging me and I can continue working because I am under a deadline. This snarky review is taking less time than continuing to click on the "Maybe Later" button. Also, the batch tools that I paid for are painfully NOT batch since I have to click the check mark on each file selected to put it in the processing queue which is an enormous waste of time. It is also fairly slow processing a couple of hundred images. I will return to update this if things change after my work is completed.

Not necessary.. Just take a picture on your iPhone, live photo should be turned off, then hold your finger over the text you want to extract from it. It can be copied and pasted from there. Much faster than how this app handles it.

Avoid this app.. I subscribed specifically for the photo-to-text scanning feature, only to find that it doesn’t work as advertised. When attempting to upload a photo for scanning, the app doesn't allow it, rendering the entire function useless. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a refund from Apple, so I'm left warning others not to make the same mistake. Save your time and money – explore other apps that actually offer functional photo-to-text scanning.

Terrible app - scam?. I just paid for a month which allegedly gave me 50 ad free scans per day. WRONG! I got ads after even my first scan and after my first 4 tests, it made me watch an extended ad to scan anymore. Why 4 tests, because even after zooming in to scan only one paragraph at a time of my handwritten text, it comes out as absolute gibberish, maybe recognizing one sentence out of every six. This is terrible and I will be requesting an immediate refund.

Serious flaws. Doesn’t remember which camera was last used, just defaults to the main one. After you take a picture, you have to take a useless step to press a “use photo” button before you get to the text extract screen (a ‘cancel’ button could be here if the image is not good), and you only get 5 scans per day(!) unless you pay to upgrade or waste time watching another ad. Uninstalled. (My review didn’t seem to be saving, hopefully this doesn’t result in multiple entries)

Runs in some language I’ve never seen on US English system. Installed twice - both time it ran in some language I’ve never seen on a US English system 10.12. Apple’s fault (from Mac App Store)?
